White Album 2 http://s.vndb.org/cv/38/18438.jpg Story The story have 3 chapters: Introductory, Closing and Coda. Introductory have absolute no choices and basically it starts off with Haruki trying to find members for the light music club and due some many many fated meetings he managed to recruit Setsuna and Kazusa. And while practising their band many many drama stuff happened and a love triangle was formed. In the end none ended happy as Kazusa flew to Vienna and Haruki chose her and betrayed Setsuna. Closing Chapter happened 3 years later of the dramatical love triangle where Haruki and Setsuna's relationship was in a dangerous zone (sorry I don't have the word to describe it). 3 more heroines were added where all endings will eventually hurt Setsuna. The Coda chapter happens if you chose Setsuna during Closing Chapter and two years had passed. Where Haruki and Setsuna went on a trip overseas to Strausburg and another fated event Haruki met Kazusa in the middle of nowhere and here I'm too lazy(and pissed, you will understand) to explain any further. Main Characters: Kitahara Haruki http://s.vndb.org/ch/08/19208.jpg Main protagonist. He is proactive and a very serious guy. In many ways I respect him, like having the courage to pursue true love. But sometimes he made some decisions you just want to punch him in the face where things can go WAYYY smoother. Ogiso Setsuna http://s.vndb.org/ch/11/19211.jpg One of the main heroines. Setsuna is a kind and timid but surprisingly proactive. She won the Miss Houjo 3 years in a row. Another drama maker, but without her its not White Album 2 any more( lol wtf am I saying? But you get the idea). I personally prefer her true route since everyone is happy and she was the one that solves all the problems. My favourite heroine. Touma Kazusa http://s.vndb.org/ch/19/19219.jpg The another main heroine. Kazusa is the daughter of the famous pianist Touma Youko, therefore she is also a master of the piano and eventually became famous. Your typical kuudere. Major drama maker, I personally don't think she suits Haruki because she was more like " oh I'm so helpless and weak so please give me your love" compared to Setsuna who tries her best to win Haruki's love. Sugiura Koharu http://s.vndb.org/ch/27/19227.jpg Introduced as a side heroine in the closing chapter. She initially dislike Haruki because he turned down the confession of her best friend and she confronts him to tell her friend the truth. A serious tsundere and nicknamed " Mini Haruki" by Tatsuya. Kazaoka Mari http://s.vndb.org/ch/25/19225.jpg Another side heroine in the closing chapter. She is Haruki's boss in his part time job in a publishing company. Izumi Chiaki http://s.vndb.org/ch/23/19223.jpg Another side heroine. She is in the same subject during Haruki's college years. She is actually from Haruki's high school and a master of acting. She initially tries to observe Haruki and Setsuna's love drama as theatre reference. She is responsible for many events during the closing chapter Supporting Characters Iizuka Tatsuya http://s.vndb.org/ch/21/19221.jpg Haruki's best friend. A well known playboy but a guy worth respect. Mizusawa Io http://s.vndb.org/ch/17/19217.jpg Setsuna's best friend. Io and Tatsuya have known each other for a long time and therefore in good terms. Yanagihara Tomo http://s.vndb.org/ch/28/19228.jpg Introduced during closing chapter. She helped Setsuna to find the courage to sing again and is also very close to her. Touma Youko http://cdn.myanimelist.net/images/characters/15/221817.jpg Kazusa's mother and the one responsible for the turning events during Coda. Graphics http://mdzanime.me/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/oh.jpg Overall Leaf did made major improvements on their graphic and still uses bright+dark colours to enhance the visual effects of a drama piece. I'm not a professional artist so I can't really give comments. Sound One of the best soundtrack of all the VNs I ever played. Until now the songs are still repeating in my brain which links back to the theme of White album 2. There are two openings for White album 2, Todokanai Koi for Introductory and Coda, and Shiawase na Kioku for Closing chapter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bL1cIUkPcGw [video=youtube;gI8-3x2e7S4] Overall I say this is one hell of a depressed story, kinda feel like my life force have been taken out as a grind through the story. But still well written and definitely a story that I will never forget. Recommended for: People who like heavy dramas(literally heavy), story with more realistic and harsh outcome, harsh decision making story Not recommended for: People who hate dramas, people who expect happy endings, netorare(in a way) Overall score 8.5/10 Thanks for reading this long post and have a good day!
