How to make Live2D model from JPG images (for non-artist) (beginners tutorial)

I noticed from time to time, that there are people here that get interested in doing something creative, but lack a certain sets of skills. and also to breath some fresh air into the general section threads, so.. ill just leave this here.

like the thread title implies, there's a guide for how to create

(something like an illusion to make 2D images 3D and interactive) using only JPG screenshots from mostly anime, or even sprites from extracted visual novels without years of artistic training.

i knew this day would come, since the launching of that facerig program in 2015, i actually wanted to try this myself but didn't.

and somebody has made organized a series of tutorials/Guide for it.

Ill embed the episode 1 of the series of episodes. and if your interested and/or would like to watch the video in full screen

you should check

Purpose:

This is an unofficial Live2D tutorial for users who can't draw digital art, to make an animated model out without the source image file (only have jpg images). and also to see monster girls and touhou things moving

just watched that one video, and looks like "made to enhance VNs". :)

Stuff like Nekopara to me looked like it would want to use this.

Am amazed that it actually goes for showing sides (a little), even backside in the future he said sth. . That's the part that if not 3D would traditionally mean "too much work needed".

Makes me wonder how it then would differ from "real"/"full" 3D, also if it would be more lightweight on CPU/GPU or actually turn out being more stress for those...

Maybe I'll actually gonna play with this, some time. Thank you for posting this.
