I installed the free version and put the files together, but it's not working. Did I do something wrong?

double check if you did everything i will mention.

1) put all parts in same folder

2) right click part 1 and select "extract here" (needs winrar installed first)

3) set your locale to japanese(does not make your computer language japanese so don't worry)

4)run game

virustotal.com is a webpage that you can use to scan files. It makes a scan with over 50 different AV. And more than 10 detected it as a virus.

ehh, my bad. i didn't see the .com... i've used the virus total app before. well dont use any that showed positive.. its a false alarm for sure.. this sites' games are all clean.

I scanned the file in virustotal.com and it said that it had a virus. Did someone had troubles with it?

i have bad news for you buddy, replace that antivirus asap... it's acting more like a virus..

i have no problem with the game... it probably detected the crack as a virus...

patch is usually a file to make the japanese version of the game english or sometimes return removed segments of the game.

download part 1 2 and 3, of the game... (it is splitted into 3, for the convenience of people with slow interenet)

put it all the part 1 2 3 of the game into the same folder. and extract them. to merge the 3 files, winrar will create the merge file in to same directory as the 3 parts. to extract you will need to download and install winrar (refer to google).

if the game is an .iso file you will need to mount it with daemon tools. (skip this step if its not .iso file)

sometimes, the game needs to be installed, but usually it doesn't.

download part 1 2 and 3 of the patch... and extract... the patch installation is different, sometimes u just need to paste it on the game directory.(check if it has instructions)

usually to run a japanese game u need to set do this 1st.. or you might get an error, because the game usually is made to be used in a japanese computer.

Steam doesn't allow AO games, so you kinda just answered yourself...

Dumb question #563839: Does anyone else still have the windows task bar visible on their screen even after putting this game into full screen mode? It's not a big deal, it's not interfering with game play or anything, it is just weird for a "full screen" program to still be showing the task bar in my experience.

 

FYI: I'm running windows 10.

interesting, i am a windows 7 user, i have a reverse issue.. although i didn't use this game but,

when i play older vn's it tends to mess up my color scheme, sometimes resolution.. and alot of times, the task bar

mine sometimes disappear when im using browser and sometimes when i play video files on my media player(vlc)

on full screen, it doesn't hide... unless i click on it.. and back to the screen of the player...

did you try to click on task bar and back to the game omega j?
