    That was actually one of the first things I tired! I don't remember which ones off hand, but I've had that work a few times with some older games. I usually store them in C:/Visual Novels/-game title- to make a simple path. Tried C;/Koihime; D:/Koihime. C;/BaseSon/Koihime. No luck. I tried using Procmon to figure out what was "broken," but it looks pretty normal and it's not logging any errors in Event Viewer since it's not actually crashing. Unless more folks report an issue, can only assume it's something about my Windows install causing an issue.

    No luck. I have scoured all the file and registry locations anything could possibly be hiding and removed them. I even removed an old registry for Koihime Musou/BaseSon just in case! I also tried downloading both the "Free" version and the Premium version just to make sure there weren't any issues coming from that angle. It has not resolved the "Boot Error: Game is not installed correctly, please reinstall" issue. The only thing I haven't done at this point is do a fresh install of Windows, which is not something I'm willing to do for a single game. Thanks for trying to help, it's hard enough trying to get ahold of games like this as it is and it's appreciated that these games are posted here!

    Anyone else been able to get it to run? I'm still getting the Boot Error: Game needs to be reinstalled message with the new files. Made sure to clear out any of the old version files then re-downloaded. 😭

    As far as I can tell, the sengokux.exe and bootmenu is checking for certain install paths for .dlls and .xmls that are probably included in a fresh install of the game, but are missing from the available game files so it thinks the game isn't installed. Probably need the install.exe to get it to run properly. Cri.

    Can't seem to find a way to put this into English. Default launches in Japanese and there doesn't seem to be a language option in the menu. Couldn't find (or I couldn't tell) in the game files how to get it in English either.
