So I was wondering when this anime aired. According to Doki Fansubs (the group I download from) it airs on Thurs. at 1655 UTC. The time zone is just UTC right? no + or -.
If that is the case episode 4 has been out for almost a day now.

Just watch all of them. 5 episodes of the first anime, 5 of the second, 5 of the third and so on. Works pretty good.
only problem with that is my copy of shakugan no shana is glitched is such a way that i can't use the menus at all (well i can but it's a major pain)

My thought process went something like this: 'Mermaids are too fishy, catgirl would probably be good, elves and angels are both too aloof, and demons... well actually, a demon girl would be the best for me. I'll vote that.' I can see why everybody voted angel, but to me they just seem to aloof or cold, maybe even self important. I'll stick by my demon girl vote, but on the grounds that she's one of the 'good' demons that isn't the kind that kills people or sleeps around, which I know seems like something that goes against the archetype. I guess what it boils down to is that the demon girl option seems most likely to get along well with me lol
Personally id be more worried about them stealing or eating my soul.

I don't know why my other thread won't work, seemed fine when I was setting it up.
Anyways, I've owned these anime for a while but I've never watched them all the way through or at all.
Rosario + Vampire: Season 1
Shakugan no Shana: Season 1
Spice and Wolf: Season 2
I don;t want to pick which one to watch all the way through so I'm gonna let you guys decide via poll.
The one with the most votes in 3 days Ill watch next, all the way through without watching somthing else.

Personally I have never run into a story where the main character died. It's ussually the love interest who dies, then again I forgot about Kashimashi (spoilers) the main character dies in the first chapter then is resurrected as a girl.
I find it more interesting when it isn't the main character who dies but someone close to him/her, then you have to watch as he/she either overcomes that lose or goes nuts as kills everyone involved.

Well most of that stuff you'd have to buy over the internet. At least where I'm at in the US I have to. Expensive as hell though to import though. Figurines are $180 at the cheapest that I've seen. Thats way to expensive for a tiny plastic thing.
You checked jbox.com or paletweb.com? their prices on imported stuff is pretty good, but im only interested in the Visual novels so i have no idea about the figurenes and collectable stuff.

Of topic, why do we even have this thread you need a entire Topic under the social section for this.

I learned a lot about japanese society, i also learned (again) that you don't want to make girls mad, bad things happen.
Other than that i also learned that the Japanese have an extremly efficiant human waste management system. I mean they rarely go to the bathroom.

Not in the stories I remember, and no i'm not talking about "The Little Mermaid."

huh? (that was my first thought)

Where are u gonna stick ur dingdong? One does not simply accept blowjobs as a replacement for sex
Jeez guys, in almost every mermaid legend i've heard, THEY CAN TURN THEIR TAILS INTO LEGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! therefore, they have a vagina.

I completely disagree. There are so many unresolved plot threads like the past of Sayo and Mana or the story of Zazie. The Negima! manga has left a bad taste in my mouth, though it was one of my favorites.
It's still one of my favorites, but the ending was, like I said, "competent AT BEST."
At worst it wasn't an ending. They left out the fight against the mage of the begining. They never showed any back story for certain characters. They didn't decide which one Negi picked. They never said what happened to Negi's Mom. They didn't say whom Setsuna and Konoka got married to. They didn't really show what life was like now that the magic world and the old world were properly linked.
I used to read the Negima manga for the longest time. And I've watched close to half a dozen Negima anime series. And all of them make stuff up, or use a different storyline completely to the main storyline in the manga.I've not however read the end of the manga, so I can't say one way or the other about plot holes and unfinished stories. I suppose I'll probably check it out once I feel in a manga mood.
There are only 2 Negima! anime series, 2 OVA series, 2 OVA episodes, and 1 movie. All of which I either own or have on my computer.
But, they ended Negima! because they didn't want to make a 200+ episode series so they had to make up stuff. Negima!? was kinda just for fun I think, it is also the better of the two series (Negima! Neo manga is based on this). Negima! Mou Hitotsu no Sekai and Negima! Ala Alba OVA series were make so they could make Negima Anime Final movie.

wow.........
I would recomend this to most of you guys here because of all the topless scenes and all the lewd jokes (particularly when involving banannas).
However, the animation is below what was standard for 2007 when it came out (it looks old style to me). The music is ok but forgetable, I guess it does go well with the scenes. The story has some interesting plot ideas but they could have expanded or explaine a whole lot better on a few things, the ending was good enough though.
Although if I were not being objective, I would say that I truely liked this show.
