If they only chose a VN with a different focus, that just happened to have H-scenes in it (first thought that comes to mind is G-Senjou No Maou, although since theyre going for a 12+ demographic, they'd probably take out a bunch of stuff besides the H Scenes like
Tsubaki beating her brother, the ideas of terrorism, and probably the ending with the the daughter as it implicates sex
. But by all means, if all they wanted to do was take out just H Scenes and anything sexual then a game like G-Senjou would probably do fine without them)
-
If they wanted to clean up a VN, why not choose something that doesn't have romance as a main focus?
-
HatsuYuki Sakura was just announced today.

YES THEY ARE. LEARN TO READ.
AS I SAID ABOVE, LEARN TO READ.
They are cutting out a lot more than just the h-scenes. Based on what they said they were removing, at least one entire route will be completely butchered.
Most people aren't that upset about no h-scenes. They are upset about half the game being removed/changed.
I was told to move to this thread, so I didn't really read most of it. Thank you for the clarification of why people are outraged. I thought it was silly for people to be so furious over just some sexual innuendos, jokes, and H/ecchi scenes.
-
I don't get the public outcry about it. They aren't changing anything in the story that matters, just taking out sex/ecchi and removing any reference to it in the story. If they got rid of romance (not that kind you pervs) altogether, that would be altering the story, and I don't think theyre doing that. I always just skip passed the H scenes anyways, so no big loss for me.
-
From what I gathered from their interviews and statements, they are COMPLETELY WRITING NEW SCRIPTS and rewriting the entire story, they're just taking out the sex scenes and slightly altering scenes that reference said scenes, and then making the conversation flow properly afterwards. If they are doing more, can you provide a link please and I'll be sure to join the anti-moenovel bandwagon.
-
Implying your jinx converstions are on-topic. Seriously, now.
Spare me your flamebait. You are fully aware it wasn't just because of that.
I fail to see any other valid reason

Rewrite has pretty "loli-ish" characters. That's a pretty long VN though, if you're interested in the time investment
-
TIL: People really care about their sex and ecchi scenes.

[spoiler=Tick Tack!]
A less than stellar, nearly nukige sequel to Shuffle that had too much sex and not enough story. On the plus side, the music was good. Here's some of the new additions that I liked.
, Sage's theme, upbeat, excited, and happy at all times. I love this theme., though not as good as Shuffle's Opening theme, I really like the rocky aspect at the beginning., the ending, has an awesome guitar riff, pretty much the only reason I put it on the list., Lycoris' theme, the best song in the game, so touching. -
[spoiler=Muv Luv]
Extra was a pretty mediocre game, and wile Unlimited was a bit more interesting, it does not compare to any of the other games I have listed so far. The soundtrack is pretty bland too except for a could notable tracks.
MuvLuv, the opening is pretty generic, but I like the song, so it gets on the list.
Ambush, the car chase theme is pretty kickin' I like the electronic sound and the base drum.
Hand in Hand, is upbeat and catchy enough that it makes the list. Pretty good for everyday song.
Fastest Transfer Theory, is a rockin' song that has ALL the synth.
Comrades, is a nice victory-ish theme. Don't know what to call it.

[spoiler=Quartett]
A very relaxing game with a very nice comic book style presentation. The music is all orchestrated, usually with some sort of string instruments, very nice.
, the main theme. A very nice tune that shows perseverance and many other things., is a very calm tune that sends me to sleep., a very nice tune, very laid back and cool., the proclamation of love theme. Very touching and sweet., the ending song. Vocalized version of the main song. Very nice, adds closure. -
[spoiler=Rewrite]
This was an amazing game. Amazing story, characters, visuals and music. 10/10 game.
, the opening of the game is so addicting to listen to, along with the orchestral arrange,, one of the best everyday life songs I've heard in a VN. Reminds me of Besaid Island's theme from FFX, Kotori's theme, probably my second favorite song. Struck a few tears to this tune., Chihaya's theme. THAT GUITAR RIFF after the intro. So good., Lucia's theme, easily the best song in the game. Everything is just... right., the regret stained song that shows you will always have something to look back on., the normal ending song. Great feeling of desperation yet desire to try again., Shizuru's ending song. I bawled to this song. The combination of the scenes plus THIS SONG, I just lost it., the ending to Terra. Great ending to a great game, brings all of the feelings felt through the entirety of the game together. -
Yeah, you got the info wrong. He changed his name.. kudwafternoon isn't the translator. He's the image editor.
He always talked about translating them, so I guess I got mislead.
-
And i'm not even sure where you got the kud wafter info from. Twitter account of translator -
This is the Twitter page I was talking about getting deleted.
https://twitter.com/kudwafternoon/priorities-translations
The Translator for Kud Wafter and NYN is the same guy: @Kudwafternoon used to be his Twitter page and its pretty much gone now, maybe he changed the name.
Edit: Yeah he changed it, this is him now: https://twitter.com/smoketotomimi

Natsu Yume Nagisa Project is most likely dead as well as Kud Wafter Project as they have deleted their Twitter pages and the translator even deleted his personal Twitter.
