Edit : Is there by any chance another tsukihme.exe in your game folder? Some patches use a different exe than the original game.

Step by step how i installed Tsukihime

1)Downloaded

2)Extracted

3)Mounted the iso file

4)Installed in D

5)Started installing the patch asked me for the arc.sar file i chose the one in local disk D

6)Started the game and it is still in Japanese

I haven't played a lot of Visual novels maybe ten of fifth teen (Crescendo,Canvas 2 A profile,G senjou no maou,Da capo,Kanon, Hoshizora No Memori,Wind A Breath of Heart,Sharin No Kuni,Tsukihime,Kamidori Alchemy Meister,Ever 17: The Out of Infinity )

so can any one recommend to good visual novels to play (the plot does not matter )

Didn't even chech if Akaneiro was translated anyway thanks for the suggestions i will try Sharin No Kuni and Hoshizora no Memoria.
