I recently saw this scene in the visual novel, although it's been a while since I watched the anime. But what happened in the visual novel was Chisato texted Oojima asking where he was, to which he responded with a lie saying he was out with his mother, when in fact he was with his teacher. He did this in order to stop Chisato from pestering him about his whereabouts because she's possessive like that. The teacher isn't his mother, but the hugging and the text were probably why you're thinking that.

Nice anime so far. I enjoyed the long reference to the Da Capo II visual novel in episode 5; I'm certain there were many references to all sorts of visual novels that episode, but the others eluded me.

Surprised that it hasn't really been "announced" yet.

Confirmed via ANN too. Also mentions the anime will cover up until the current light novel volume, although ANN's wording was misleading by stating it will go all the way through the "final novel volume", implying the series is over when in fact the light novels are still ongoing.

For anyone interested, an X-Rated version of Da Capo 3 has been confirmed for near-future release here. At the time of this posting, Visual Novel Database has yet to list it.

And as a reminder, the Da Capo 3 anime premieres Janurary 5th, 2013 - almost a week from today! ; )

I played through this game multiple times with a friend, but I don't think I could ever really get into it again, unless Atlus introduces a lot of new features now that they've bought it.

Quite some time has passed since the last time I played a visual novel.

They don't go to the beach in any of the routes in the regular game (they MIGHT have done fireworks on the beach, but they weren't wearing swimming gear); in fact, they're shown in clothing opposite to swimsuits - skiing wear. You're most likely thinking of the VNs in desi's link.

If anyone is interested, a subbed Accel World OVA has been released.

I'm sure the next season will be announced soon. There was plenty of character foreshadowing at the end of the final episode, and the anime has only gone through a third of the ongoing light novels, which means plenty of material is left.

I own Growlanser 2 and 3, but I haven't purchased Wayfarer yet; I have too many games to complete at the moment.

I don't really care if they're censored or not, but if they're going to be censored with a still picture of a dolphin and make me wonder what the hell is going on like in Hoshizora no Memoria, then I'd prefer them not to be. Unless censorship was used for comedy. Comedy sex! ...Not that I've played an eroge where the censorship is part of the comedy when the characters make love, yet.

Dammit Zaig, that's fate! Let's start going out! Also, the only thing I really use my handy for is its alarm-clock function. It's like 20% alarm-clock, 10% SMS, 2% phoning and 68% collecting dust. So yeah, I love my phone.

But I'm already going out with Mashiro! Aside from calling people/Mashiro/my other lovers Mashiro doesn't know about, I only use my phone for my alarm clock every day. =P

And my cheap cellphone doesn't have a camera too.

This and I personally won't buy me an Ipad, or something alike, anyway. I already have a shitty mobile phone (without cam etc.) and for everything else I can use my shitty laptop (which has a cam lol).

Hooray! Another person whose phone doesn't have a camera but his laptop does! I use my laptop 10000000000x more than my phone, anyways.

I can't really focus on reading something or immerse myself with other people around because they break concentration, which is why I prefer to study, play visual novels, etc alone. If I had one of those, being able to play them on a portable device would just make me want to play them on my laptop more and anger me if I couldn't.

Well, I didn't hate her (I disliked her), but I accidentally ended up doing Uruka's route as my first route in Eien no Aselia. I still don't really understand how, because Esperia's route should of been what I was on - she seemed to be on my team constantly (though I suppose later in the game, Uruka was quite good in Yuuto's party, so that was probably where the error lied). However, while doing Uruka's route, I actually enjoyed hers quite much. SPOILERS FOR HER ROUTE

And I was kinda pinned to her route, since I didn't have any other save files to return to, unfortunately (I'm in this habit of always using one save file for JRPGs...excluding New Game+s). If it wasn't for being forced to play through her route, I probably would have always not cared for her much, nor would I have ever done it.

Just let your imagination run wild. It's real in my eyes, god damnit.

Random Episode 12 Thoughts Because Not All of Us Are Awesome Enough to Be Current

Oh…oh my god. Chitanda jumping up and down in excitement while clapping her hands at watching the dancers was so incredibly cute. It made me sad when she suddenly stopped and said in a serious tone, “This isn’t the time to be doing this!” and ran off. Damn it, get back here and continue what you were doing! ...Although, even without that scene, she was pretty cute throughout the entire episode, getting all distracted. Get it together, Chitanda! You can do it!

EDIT: I've now officially joined the waiting game.

I'm pretty much stalled on My Girlfriend is the President/visual novels in general. I can't remember how long it's been since I was really immersed into a visual novel, unfortunately. There are some I want to play, but they're not completely translated yet.
