Sometimes it's just impossible to figure out the best order to play the routes. This is part of the reason G-Senjou was so good-- all you had to do was go down a new route every time it was presented to you, and you automatically save the main heroine's route (the best one in that game IMO) for last.

Man Usami's route was just epic. I don't remember anything too special about the other routes but the main route was fantastic. And part of the reason might be because the other routes end before you get to the main climax.

Will there be a Futaki route?

Yep. It will contain all routes with extended scenarios from the original Little Busters! plus three new heroine routes which include scenarios for Kanata Futaki and Sasami Sasasegawa and a new heroine named Saya Tokido who is only featured in Ecstasy.

I believe EX also contains 3 new routes... been looking forward to play EX for a while now.. hopefully it will be translated soon

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien for me... i hope someone picks it up... surprised that a fairly well known visual novel like that hasn't had a proper english translation.

Hoshizora no Memoria now 12/44 on the revision stage, but the release date will be pushed back a bit

Fixed endings. Most VNs don't have this problem, but a lack of variety of endings sometimes bothers me.

Wanko route is done translated for Majikoi.. still waiting for the Miyako route, other side routes, and true route to be finished though.

2. G Senjou

3. Sharin no Kuni

4. Katawa Shoujo

5. Little Busters!

All of these are fairly well known, so probably no surprises.

Yeah its a bit annoying, especially when the CGs they show are towards the end of the storyline. I usually skip the intro if they do show CGs like that.

Yeah, so if i remember correctly the patch that comes with the download from erogedownload contains the patch with all the routes and the patch that you download from tlwiki comes with the patch just for Houzuki's route.

I remember playing the fandisc. There was one patch that only translated Houzuki's route so you could only see his route. There was another patch that translated all the routes but the translation wasn't that well done and the scenes themselves were just fan service. I think you could choose to see in the main title which heroine you would want to see extra scenes with but it depended on the type of patch you had. Is this what you are referring to? You don't need the save from the original, I'm pretty sure it depends on what type of patch you have.

Translated. I cant find any english versions of these VN's at all.

I want 11eyes translated as well.. looks like the last update for an english patch was on September 10th.... but they did state that "There will be no more partial patches release. Our aim right now is to finish the whole set. So the next release will be 11eyes full game translation. Hope you will support us."

So hopefully will we get surprised one day with a full patch... I really want to try it out lol.

Patiently waiting for translation to finish as well. The release date is March 18th but i heard he was a little behind schedule so there is a chance it gets pushed back.. hopefully not by much.

As Haika mentioned, Kana little sister is an option. Although i haven't played it yet, Canvas 2 has a younger cousin storyline from what i've read.. technically it isn't a younger sister but that's pretty much all i can think of besides the ones that were mentioned already.

Sharin no Kuni fandisk.

Damn, I'm pretty jelly right now. I want to experience Houzuki's backstory for the first time again, it was just awesome.

Right now i just finished Muv Luv a few days ago and started Muv luv Alternative.. i'm not exactly sure how many hours i've put into it so far but i've heard its a pretty long visual novel. Currently on chapter 8 right now.

I just finished Sharin no Kuni and it was pretty good. I can see why it is some people's favorite, which is why I decided to try it out. Some people said in was their favorite in the "what's your favorite eroge" thread thing. Wouldn't call it my favorite but it sucked me in to where I continuously played it as much as I can. I even got a 100% of it but that was just because I wanted to now what all the endings was like.

 

I'm probably gonna play the fandisc thing that it has, if it isn't too long. (How long is it compared to Sharin no kuni?) If it is then I'm gonna take a break from VNs for a while since I've been neglecting something else I started before playing it.

As someone else mentioned, just do the main route and skip all the extra hentai scenes... they're just fan service and really don't add anything at all... the main route is a really good prequel type story. I really enjoyed it. The route isn't all that long.. i forgot exactly but it was probably the length of 1 chapter in Sharin no Kuni.... nonetheless you should check it out.

I'm still working my way through G-Senjou myself(only just finished the Tsubaki ends), but I do know the emotional highs and lows that can come from good VN completion. I've talked about it before, it usually has me writing a huge review of every last little thing in the game as a sort of closure.

I'll be looking forward to your huge review for G-Senjou, the true ending is just fantastic.

I felt exactly the same after finishing G Senjou a couple of weeks ago. It takes a few days for all the feels to go away but man you just get emotionally invested into the VN... thats the sign of an excellent VN in my opinion. As others have said, Sharin no Kuni could be an option. Its made by the same publisher/developer as G Senjou. Badass protagonist, good music, a mix of comedy and serious moments, and a couple of twists along the way. After playing Sharin no Kuni, immediately play the fandisc.. it shows you the back story of one of the main characters and its an excellent prequel.
