Indeed, you only need arc.nsa from the 1st and 2nd game, once you copy them you can play the whole story from the 3rd game.

And it seems like is not a problem with the downloads or winrar, is actually because your pc has not japanese language, let's just hope there won't be any problem with MGQ3 extraction.

I downloaded the 3 parts here and the Eng patch: Monster Girl Quest | Eroge Download

MGQ1 has 3 parts as free download so i'm guessing that's your problem.

When Harle said part 1, 2 and 3 he meant Monster Girl Quest 1, Monster Girl Quest 2 and Monster Girl Quest 3.

For ease's sake, once you downloaded the 3 games take arc.nsa from MGQ1 and arc1.nsa from MGQ2 and paste them on MGQ3 folder, overwrite when asked to; after that open MGQ3, go to extra and select combine.

Just makin' sure you're following the procedure correctly.

First you open the disc (like in screenshot 5) and run the first option (most likely), keep pressing enter or something untill you see the installation progress.

THEN copy everything inside the update folder and paste it on wherever the game installed (most likely C:/Program files/ something...).

Run the update.exe? (it will most likely work that way).

And after that copy everything inside no_dvd and paste it on the game folder again, overwrite when/if prompted.

Run the game once with the dvd igame mounted, once it runs properly you can delete it (the dvd ofc).

This is only the basic procedure of installing/patching vns, i know not where you downloaded it or if it needs omething else, i hope not.

Is Sono Hanabira the game you're having issues to extract?, because that would explain the crashing (the game opens, gives a intro, searches for content and it doesn't finds anything so it crashes).

Usually i just select all .rar/.zip archives and "extract here" (or "extract to /*"), it has yet to give me any problem.

And yeah awesome game, and after you read it i recommend the anime cause it gets really enjoyable once you know the entire story (the OVAs are pretty fun too).

Princess Waltz - Great game with a sort of strategic part and some very nice H sceneces

 

Pretty Soldier Wars - Have started playing it but got frustrated because of the very hard level of the strategic fights (the girls seemed nice though)

 

Moreo Downhill Night 1 + 2 - Fast cars and hot girls, what else can a boy ask for

 

G-Senjou no Maou - Really fantastic crime story with lovely characters (for my taste a bit too much story and too few H scences, though I loved playing it and hanging on till the end)

My exact same thoughts, except with G-Senjou wich from my point of view sucked very bad.

I'd like to recommed you a few mainstream vns wich are even more awesome than all you've listed so far: Muv-Luv Trilogy (for the love of god don't skip extra, survive it as a man), Ever17, Fate-Stay Night and of course Sengoku Rance.

Some other good discoveries i've made through all my years of experience in this field (like... 1) are Planetarian, Bible Black, Grisaia no Kajutsu (maybe), Saya no Uta (gore, but awesome nonethless) and if you're into furry-tailed girls and that stuff you gotta read Monster Girl Quest Trilogy.

A few of them have no ero content, all are translated into english and are on this site ready for download.

These are just personal opinions, i bet a lot of people here will hate me for saying Muv-Luv > Grisaia and everything > G-Senjou but those are just my 2 cents

I have a file to "replace" another file in window/system32 and give sound to the games, but is only for XP and no window 7. It will work in window 7 too or I will need another diferent file? I dont want to mess with this stuffs and damage my pc so that why I am asking first.

First make sure you're using the right codec, this one is the one i use in case your's give any problem.

And no, it shouldn't mess up your system in any was as long as you make a backup of your original file.

For exciting full packed action vn's (?) i'd recommend Fate/Stay, Muv Luv (the entire trilogy, survive the first two), Bible Black and... have you tried Sengoku Rance?

For slow paced nice ones i'd say Little My Maid, Planetarian and Ever17.

Like JigenZ i'd say G-Senjou no Maou as well but.. that one's bored as hell (yes i said that)

As Sind said when you get prompted to insert the cd it will give you the option to provide the files location as well, just browse wherever you downloaded the file and that's it.

Gerard's guide is really complete, but if you're at a loss about wtf is a ISO file and what to do if it isn't then be my guest.

There are 3 types of VN's you'll download here (mostly 3, you'll rarely come across something else):

One is the extract-and-play and yeah is just "extract here" > open the folder > doble click the exe > enjoy (some examples are Armored Warrior Iris, Sakura Spirit and My girlfriend is the president.

Another one is the standard installator, when you extract and open the folder you'll notice a single .exe file and maybe a few other archives that makes no sense, just doble click the .exe and follow instructions (same as above), it will most likely be already patched but if it doesn't the crack/patch should be either in the .rar or in the site ready to be downloaded, just read the "read.me" and do what it says (examples Song of Saya and Hypno training).

And lastly we have the .ISOs, you'll notice right away since once you extract there will only be one maybe two files, a .ISO and a .CUE, doble click it and run the .exe when Damon Tools manages to mount the image, as easy as that.

And with that my friend you'll be able to play any title here, now go with my blessing to play Song of Saya because is fucking awesome.
