Oreimo was good, it has some harem elements but those are mostly overshadowed by the sister loving. The plot of all 31 epsidoes don't make a lot of sense but most of what I wanted to see was in the last episode, so that's OK.

Fortunately the next two anime i have lined up, Hajime no Ippo and Space Brothers, are less about "jeez, i want to bang my sister" and more about achieving an amazing goal and the hardships along the way. Or is that basically the same thing as Oreimo?

I am currently halfway through My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute and its pretty good if you chose to watch it knowing what its about. The comedy is hit/miss, character design is cute and the EDs and OPs reintroduced me to that kind of music.

After playing the game for 2 hours I need to correct vndb, the sister heroine (girl with the silver/white hair) has by no means E+ cup. D at max, maybe even "just" C

Duelist x Engage looks pretty fun in a familiar sort of way. I don't think the Japanese games list on here has grown much at all which is a shame.

I think the most important skill is teamwork! If its a solo project however, and this is my completely unprofessional advice, you would need to learn how to create art and graphics as well as to program. I'm sure there are some indie developers who could help you more specifically.

Artificial Academy is the only game I know with a freeroam that lets the player interact with characters.

I'm definitely looking forward to Altered Fable given my experience with Muv Luv and Alternate. It's weird that the successful VNs don't have their sequels and spin-offs translated 100% of the time.

Aw shucks, putting a "no rape/ntr" filter really cuts down on the available content! Eiyuu Senki and Eien no Aelia could be to your liking, both have rpg elements. Castle Fantasia is also really good!
