I think the best way to know would be to consult their privacy web page : OCR Secure access with ABBYY Cloud SDK But I'm not really sure what you don't want to get traced, the images that you're extracting the text from? In this case I think all the OCR will use your data at some point to train their program but I'm not sure if they're really interested in storing who is reading what with their OCR

Yeah well companies need money sure, but don't they have a quality standard or something? I guess in the end they just don't really care about the market outside japan. And yeah it'd be good if people would stop buying this crap, it's really sad to see so many people not even care about reading machine translated shit and paying for it. Let's just hope it remains a small part of the translated VN market and not the standard.

It's really sad to see Fortissimo is getting a machine TL, how can the Japanese companies even agree to this?!

Played this a while ago, I'm usually wary of H-RPG but this wasn't bad at all.

I'm not much of a fan of Sekai and their kickstarters too much either but we're finally seeing a lot of VN officially translated in English and I'm definitely very happy about that. I don't participate in kickstarters anyway I'm just hoping we'll get good translations which matters much more to me. Another thing bugging me is the prices Sekai put on their games, how the fuck are they selling visual novels at 50 bucks on steam??

I agree with that, but didn't they set the bar way too high right at the start? I mean, I think it's nice that they're funding it based on the sales of the previous VN / chapters but 200k is already a pretty big amount, not to mention it was simply in order to translate the first two chapters. Too bad.
