  1. To each of their own in regard of Venus Blood I guess. Although looking at the score, I won't expect much from the VN though. To each of their own here I guess, and by the way I'm okay with tentacle here.

Anyway, Sakusakura kickstarter was begun few days ago and the reception was quite good with right now it was at almost touching 6,000 (At 5,769 right now). Although it might be too optimistic tough to said that the Kickstarter would be smooth sailing considering that this VN was less known, and more importantly the fact that Sakura name was associated with Winged Cloud 'magnum opus' (lol) franchise. Regardless, I was quite interested with Sakusakura a little because it got some interesting feature and the girl was quite cute, so I hope for their success there even though it might be hard.

PS - Forgot to say this earlier, but there's additional news that namely Quof from Dekiru Translation was decided to translated Lovely Cation. Apparently the old translation was stalled and so he decided to continue the project. Right now for the progress it was at 1,200 out of 4,565 lines from Sera's route translated. Oh, and he was promised to translated the sequel so perhaps fan of Lovely Cation could look forward to that.

  2. May I join this as well here? Thanks in advance.

PS - By the way it was me who change the date back at VNDB (Sorry for the promotion here lol). That aside, actually I had slight wary though that Sekai might need to delay this even if they already announce this will be released at 27th. But at least for now we knew the exact date for the release albeit still uncertain, so it's good for now at least because at least it mean that if it would be delayed it's only for several days instead of months. Oh, and I was looking forward to this as well considering that this should be released last year, and deal with Sekai happened so it's delayed.

  3. For additional update, there's Tsujidou in which it was at past two third (67.25%) translated for Ai's route and for overall progress it was at almost 40% (39.67%) translated.

As for Michael aka Sono Hanabira 11, Mangagamer was indeed said that it was their 1st secret project back at Otakon. The one who said that was AXPBY which is the big fan of Sonohana franchise, and apparently right now he was already work with Mangagamer (Quite ironic that he was tried with JAST first in regard of Sonohana). Also I just knew that Ralen (The translator from Yuri Project wiki) was already work with Mangagamer in regard of Nyuu Jene, so perhaps both of Ralen and AXPBY had some deal in regard of this although curiously Ralen was already finished his translation though when Mangagamer 1st secret project wasn't anywhere near 100% (Perhaps it could be TLC process from Ralen that was left). In the end, at least all of the process was finished and perhaps we could expect November release just like Nyuu Jene last year (Announced at last year Otakon as well).

  4. As for switching mode, it was in regard of switching the method for the funding of Supipara. minori did use only the sales of their VN in English to fund Supipara, which to said was quite slow and need three years (From 2014 iirc) to just fund the localization of Chapter 2. What I tried to say is that I wonder if they gonna to just change the mode with something like KS or IGG, considering that it was more effective if one need to gather the funds quickly. By the way, I was wrong that back at 2015 minori was gathered 135,000. The truth is that back then minori was gathered around 100,000 which at least it made that the funding was more successful than I thought, although it's still need two years though to complete it (From 2015). Oh, and I would still estimated that Chapter 3 would be out at 2021 for now.

By the way, there's no announcement from Sekai other than Fata Morgana manga. But at least we got news that Saku Saku will be released at 25th later, so it's good.

PS - May I request Saku Saku to be uploaded later here? Thanks in advance.

  5. So we already had Otakon announcement from Mangagamer and well, ....it's not as good as last year if I may be honest here. As for the OELVN announcements along with one HRPG announcement, let's just said that for now I wouldn't interested in those but then again it may change in the future.

As for Supipara, I thought it was at 350 at first lol then turn out that they just need 150 to develop it. Of course that's still a lot though but at least it's pretty much normal Kickstarter goal lol at (ie something like Grisaia, Root Double, and Libra) albeit a bit too much. My concern is that I wonder if they gonna switch the mode considering that the sales was not too good for them, and looking at how 'fast' they got the goal safe to said that I won't expect Chapter 3 until at least 2021.

Sengoku, well I was about to laugh when I did saw the announcement considering that we already had it translated back at 2009. Granted it was contain one major error from what I knew, but it's not like that most people care about that anyway especially if we talk about the people who read that in English. What's more, I think people pretty much already discussed it to the death and pretty much already develop the strategy to finishing the game (And do hard mode as well). In short, I would say that this is a very redundant announcement although I knew that there's some people who want this though. Oh, and by the way Arunaru was the one who responsible for this. I knew that it's up to him to do whatever he want now that Evenicle was finished, but still I prefer him to 'waste his time' on something like IX instead of Sengoku.

As for the rest, I think the better announcement to me here would be Magnum and Michael considering that those two was pretty much the culmination of their previous VNs. For Magnum, it was Sengoku's sequel and focused more on Rance finished his quest while solving some story for the side characters, which is a lot considering that Rance was already around for more than 20 years. As for Michael, of course I mean Sono Hanabira in which it was tell us the yuri and Michael was the 11th VNs that cover a new couple for the most part, and it was also tell us more of the previous five couples which span across 10 VNs. Oh, and I think Mangagamer will use the new script for Michael considering that one Tweet said this is Mangagamer first secret project, although I would still wait for their word though.

That's all for my comment, and overall compared to last year and AX it was quite a letdown here considering that I'd quite look forward to this. Oh, and I didn't care about their BL VN here.

  6. I'm understand if you thought the breast as the major change here. The answer here is actually the animation for the opening. I said this because I did watch all minori opening and all of those was had some 2D drawing and the animation, or at least until they release Supipara in which it was the last opening that they use the animation. Post Supipara, they started to almost eliminated the animation and started to use the static image just like any usual VN opening. It's understandable though considering that they probably had a hard time to recover after Supipara.

PS - Oh, and for the update here earlier we had Tsujidou was at 37.06% translated with Ai's route at 58.66% translated.

  7. I'm pretty much agree with everyone here in regard of Supipara that it was too ambitious, especially when they just planned to get it from the softcopy sales alone iirc for around two years (ef was just got hardcopy release at March). I had some complain about the story for Chapter 1, but I guess it's better if I didn't say it here. For the funding, I'd remember that back when Mangagamer announced Tokyo Babel (ie Otakon 2015) it's still at around 135,000 so the fund gathering was on the slow side. So I think we just need to wait until 2028 if we want Supipara full version XDDDD.

PS - By the way, if you watch minori VNs opening after Supipara it was very obvious that there's a lot of change from the opening only (Hint: It's not the breast size that I want to talk here).

  8. Yeah I agree with Kai in regard of Clover Days. Especially when the people who involved with Clover Days project was Astro as the leader, and most importantly Sekai Project translator. I had some more suspicion toward him, but it's not my place to say it here. Regardless of that, I would say congratulation to Ittaku though for completing the translation after the hard work there. In the end, I guess the best action would be just wait and see here.

PS - By the way, for the tidbit Astral Air was gonna to be officially localized according to Chuee. And seeing that Chuee and co. was working with Sekai in regard of Saku Saku, Sekai was the most obvious culprit for the one who would responsible as Astral Air publisher (Not developer, because it was Favorite's job).

  9. Yeah, I'd also stalk the thread silently here.

Anyway, there's good news that Clover Days was fully translated by Ittaku. To be honest, while this is should be a good news I'm afraid that it'll go Astral Air way so yeah I'd just see this as usual news here. I said this not because I'm against official localization (In fact, I would say go for it), but it was because usually if fan translation was going to be officially release, there would be some paper work that I'm sure it'll be take longer time to resolve, and therefore delaying the release. While it's should be expected if we talk about paperwork, I'm think that if fan translation release was going official it'll be make the hype died down because it'll be a long time, and there's possibility that most of fans that looking forward to the release was already moved on to another VN that was translated. But then again, there's always new VN fan so perhaps it could be the right move there.

The bottom line here 'If fan translated VN was going to be officially release, it'll be make the hype died down because usually the process would be very long'.

PS - For 'Pulltop/MoeNovel answer to Sakura franchise' duology thing, hopefully someone would be interested to patched 18+ content to Steam version. But seeing that both work was quite mediocre according VNDB, I think it wouldn't count that chance for now.

  10. Well, at least Eustia was stable if I may say something about that.

As for Otakon, quite interesting indeed that Mangagamer was about to launch 5 announcements. As for the most obvious candidate, it should be Chuuable magnum opus (According to some review), although as usual I would like to just wait and see for now.

PS - I'll give the additional update from Tsurezure here. Right now Tsujidou was at 32.8% translated, and for more detail Ai's route was at 44.58% translated.

  11. .......

Well, that's the most shallow reason to start the famous VN translation project ever. And I hope that they break up painfully if that's what really happened lol. Besides, if they hooked up I think they could still continue the project, just like Sheeta and Ixrec in the past. Oh well, at least my opinion that it was 'scam and troll project' still stand to me here in regard of Natsuyume project lol.

Anyway, if you want tool the first source should be TL Wiki. Otherwise maybe PM some hacker at Fuwanovel perhaps. As for Natsuyume, I knew the spoiler and safe to said it's ending was not usual. Good luck.

  12. Recently, I have been talking alot about this VN with one of my net acquaintances and even heard that this VN had a fan-TL project (https://prioritiestl.wordpress.com/2012/10/30/project-announcement-natsuyume-nagisa/) that sadly never delivered. But anyways, it seems like a rather interesting VN all in all, downloaded it last week, certainly a title worth doing a project for based on what I have heard about it so far.

If you need any consolation, I did call them 'made the wordpress page after drinking 5,000 gallons of beer' and called the project was scam and troll project back at Fuwanovel lol.

Anyway, I think that they apparently chose the wrong time to translate the stuff (Near the end of their college year). I understand their reason at the very least, but I think tbey should just announced ot openly when they couldn't translate anymore and therefore dropped the project, so at least fan wouldn't need to wait for the futile hope there.

For the last word here, I hope somebody would translate Natsuyume in the future either through ofiicial way or fan translated.

  13.

Looking at that thread, there so many change compared to today and it's quite interesting to see. Especially in regard of HatsuKoi in which it was about to be translated at that time, and for reminder it was already fully translated by Tsurezure nowadays. There's also Mangagamer finished both of Da Capo 3 and Kara no Shoujo 2, and right now they manage to get Marriage as well. There's a lot of change in fan translation and JAST as well, and most of those projects that was listed from them were already completed. Oh, and right now we had many localization company for VN compared to the past. So I would said that the VN localization was definitely changed in between three years.

PS - Oh, forgot to said that it's still 2015 at JAST apparently lol with they still stated Django would be released at first half of 2016, while today was already at almost July 2017 end.

PPS - About Bishoujo Mangekyou, it's good to see that they almost finished the project there and hope that they managed to release it this year.

  14. About Bokuten, well apparently Doddler was still working on that. He promised us that it'll be released at this year though or in his word 'I'm sure it will be out before the end of the year. Hopefully a bit sooner though!' in his Curious Cat, although I would expect some delay in regard of that though.

PS - Quite interesting crazy Calen there, Infernoflex.

  15. Didn't care about Sorcerer's Dream, but good luck to Frontwing I guess in regard of their Kickstarter despite their tendency to do the milking.

Oh, and Ate the Moon Translation was back and decided to translated Tsuki ni Yorisou Otome no Sahou from the beginning (The old project was stalled). Here's the announcement, and I would say good luck to the translator there.

  16. As for Subahibi, the censored scene was apparently bestiality which to tell the truth was not that important other than showing Freudian Excuse of some cult woman. In fact, I knew that the extreme sexual act was used to show of how screwed those people who engage on that act were.

About herkz, he did said 'autist' several times at Romanesque GD thread at VNDB (Created by me, sorry for the promotion here lol) so yeah I wouldn't trust him completely there, but perhaps he did had some good points behind his sarcastic words imo.

Well, it's not like I care much about Dracu Riot announcement in the first place anyway now that we got complete translation patch. Although if perhaps Insem still withhold his 80% completed patch or the patch wasn't leaked right now, I think I would react VERY differently if Sekai announced this (I did write my very angry thought on that matter in regard of Insem earlier here). In short, I agree with you that if Sekai want to localized it then go ahead. Now if only Sekai dare to announce any Saga Planet VNs along with the 18+ patch, then it would be interesting.

Yes, I knew that thread. In fact, I edited the release date of Majikoi in hope that JAST didn't screwed the chance to release complete translation of Majikoi by announcing it back then was because thst thread (Yeah, I'm very naive back then). Well, it's up to JAST to decided whatever VN that they want to license I guess although I prefer if they license new untranslated VN though.

PS - Tat was my reply for Infernoplex. As for the others who used to update VNTS, perhaps they were quite busy.

  17. My interest was still the same here if we talk about revealed announcements (Evenicle, Senren Banka, Damekoi, and Nanairo).

As for supposed Frontwing secret projects, I think either it could be Goo's (Island and Himawari writer) new VN or Hatsumira if we talk about Island resemblance. Oh, and perhaps it could be Yuki Koi Melt as well. No comment about Subahibi here other than interesting setup for Steam release (By the way, I would like request it if that's out next month).

Dracu Riot, if I may say something about this it would be that no wonder Decay was always restless whenever Dracu Riot leaked patch was mentioned. Well, since we got leaked complete patch it's up to Decay to either license it or release it after polishing the patch. Good luck with the official release to Dracu Riot there I guess, and at least it's not as painful back when Saku Saku was announced by Sekai.

For JAST, ummm.... whatever I guess with Majikoi announcement. By now it's just redundant move imo, although perhaps someone would be interested with polished translation maybe (That, and willing to wait longer).

That's all for my comment here.

  18. Missing Libra in the "Completed Projects This Week", also, I'd advise people not to expect a good translation from bunch of these new VNs that popped out. George Henry Shaft translated a bunch of VNs recently but judging by what I saw from some of the people that tested out one of these, it seems like it's a far worse of a translation than what Libra pulled off ... The only shining beacon this week would probably be MGQ Paradox Part 1 by Dargoth xD

Well, at least it had the image from Libra if I may say something.

Anyway, about GHS I think I would appreciate him if he managed to translate famous VN title like Hatsuyuki Sakura or Natsuyume Nagisa, although it would be filled with many nonsense anyway lol. Then again, perhaps he chose the easier VN to work ie translated and interpret it however he desired. Well, if people find out that GHS translation was bad even compared to Libra, at least I could said something like 'At least it's not GHS translaion' lol.

Oh, as for Tsujidou right now it was at 17.5% translated for additional update here.

  19. At least Mangagamer still managed to churn up some new releases unlike JAST, which Decay noted that only managed to had one new release between AX 2016 and 2017.

By the way, actually there's an update from Flowers Summer episode although the update was pretty much confirm that it won't be out at 2017 though lol because it's said that they still halfway at translating it and will work hard. Make that what you will.
