some one help i can't save everytime i save and restart the game its not there did i do sth wrong? i m opening the game from the WinRAR file

Can anyone help me? Plz I downloaded the game. It is in WinRAR archive file Everytime i want to play the game i have to go to the last file of the game the 15 th and it extract to itself Takes a few mins for the extraction to complete and i loose my safe files everytime i reopen it. I m on Windows 7 I m new to these kind of download so i hope i can get some help please
