yeah, that was retarded. i was like "wtf is this" when i watched the first episode. then i found a thing about the chronological order and watched it that way. it was much better like that.

though watching it without that chronological order seems to be interesting nevertheless~~

Amagami even tells you when the arc begins and in the title of each episode.

in amagami each route is completely separate. in yosuga no sora, they overlap some episodes, so you need a key like the one i posted to figure out how to watch it.

It's because the game has multiple routes, do the anime does too. This way everyone gets to see the girl they like as the main heroine in the anime.

The only games I've played that have a female protag are X-Change 1 and Sono Hanabira series. I had no problems with the female protags, but I guess they don't really count because they are gender bender and yuri. I don't think I would have much problems with playing some "normal" VN with a female protag either. I am yet to play Shikkoku no Sharnoth -What a Beautiful Tomorrow-, which has a female protag. Hopefully I'll play it soon enough and see how it'll be like.

shikoku no sharnoth are nice...

just the mini games are annoying...

and most female protag always ends up with rape,,tentacle mostly
