Ninki Seiyuu: How to Make a Pop Voice Actress

  • Language: English, Chinese

Production Bloom, a mid-sized voice acting agency, is chronically short on staff. To help out, Keito Nagakura, a family friend of the manager, is asked to work part-time, collecting scripts from the various studios and bringing them back to Bloom's office.
But when his mother is hospitalized over her slipped disc (yet again) and has to take time off to undergo surgery, it's up to Keito and his younger sister Konatsu to fill in for her. Her occupation? Caretaker of Maikaze Dorm, a prestigious all-girls dormitory for the up-and-coming voice actresses and models who attend Seikadai Academy.

One guy in a dorm filled with drop-dead gorgeous women? What could possibly go wrong?

As Keito gets to know the lovely floormates, he finds himself mentor to a voice actress who's struggling to develop her career, the idol of his dreams, and... his little sister?

How are actors cast for roles? What goes on inside the recording booth? And what are the secrets to succeeding as a voice actress?

Step into the recording booth and find out what the fascinating industry of voice acting is all about!

Ugh. Once again, an intriguing VN contaminated with blood related incest. I'll be skipping that particular route.

+1 points for this title. The heroines can actually differentiate between a rom-com accident and a deliberate peeping perv.

I'm really tired of protagonists getting their reputation permanently trashed as if what was an accident was actually intentional. It's really refreshing to see the heroine(s) response match the actual situation. Of course I still expect the protagonist to get slapped in the face in the heat of the moment, or some other such appropriate response, but once everything settles down, I really appreciate the heroine(s) recognizing the difference between accident and intent.

That might be reason enough to give this a try.

According to vndb.org, this title has "System Time Events". If I understand that correctly, that means the game will do something out of the ordinary on specific dates and/or times based on your computer's clock. Assuming it isn't a mis-tagging and the VN has no such thing, I'm having difficulty finding a list of what times/dates trigger these events.

I don't want to know the contents of events them selves, just what dates and times trigger them. Does anybody know when they are?

According to vndb's description, it was an event that will triggered when you start the game on specific IRL time/date, so if what you mean by event was an in-game story events, it has nothing to do with it.

Quote

When you start the game on a specific calendar date (the date set on your device), the game celebrates the real life or fictional celebrations by playing a short mini event.

I assume it was something like Majikoi's game-close scene that only played when you close the game.

I assumed the same as well, either start up or shutdown and nothing actually in game. My problem is I still don't know WHEN these events are suppose to trigger. I don't want to know what they are just what days to either wait for, or muck with my computers calendar to artificially jump it ahead.

As far as avoiding spoilers, obviously days like Christmas eve or valentines day (assuming those are some of the days in question) are going to be pretty obvious what they are but I don't want to know what the rest are.

Here's a silly thought. As this is a story about people learning how to be voice actors, I wonder if the actual voice actors, the real people providing the voices, not the characters in the story, had difficulty deliberately flubbing their lines to represent amatures just learning after all the time they spent learning not to flub their lines?

My beliefs about love were abnormal, clearly. My classmates certainly seemed willing to hookup with anything that walked, and they appeared happy enough.

But I realized something in my 2nd year of high school. My soul mate wasn't going to just fall out of the sky into my lap. I wanted to experience a real, flesh and blood love, not some made up fairly tale version of it that only existed in my head.

-The childhood friend that wants to spend her life at your side-
-The classmate that dreams of meeting her knight in shining armor-
-The underclassman that wants to become an expert at romance-
-The upperclassman that longs to bring happiness to the family she holds dear-

My meeting these girls was nothing but a series of coincidences.
But if what happens next is up to me, then maybe I can decide it starts right here, right now.
I won't know if I'm making the right moves or not until this is all over.
All I know is that the only one that can turn a chance encounter into true love is me.

The heroine and protagonist suddenly start dating, and as they spend time together, they fall in love for real.

This work inherits the concept and world view of its predecessor, "Making*Lovers". It is a student version with all the heroines attending a school, with the concept of the shape of love that develops after a relationship is formed and the element of "shyness" is strengthened.

    • The main character, Haruta Kirimiya is the only son of a wealthy couple who lived in a tower block since he was young, and is enrolled in a prestigious private school but is currently semi-reclusive.

His father, Yoshio, who is an elite employee of a large company, concludes that his son is being bullied because he is short and obese, and he despises his son, a "loser," so much that he devotes himself to work, ignoring his family.

On the other hand, his mother Mizuki , who was raised as a naive young lady, dotes on him, but she lacks knowledge about the growth of boys and treats him more like a child than his actual age. He had a cold hatred for his father, and a dark and twisted love for his young, beautiful and attractive mother.

He may be like that, but in reality, he didn't live a life that would make his parents feel pessimistic. After all, he hasn't actually been bullied, and for several years now he has been day trading, giving up his school time, and has acquired a huge amount of assets. He has good relationships with his friends, and is able to obtain most of the things that money can buy. But now, he has given up, saying, "No matter how much money you have, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll be happy.''

What he really wants is not money, but Mizuki, a mother and a woman. One day, he notices that Mizuki, who usually acts cheerfully, is looking haggard. Mizuki says there is something she would like to discuss with Yoshio, but Yoshio says, "The company's project is reaching its climax and I am busy,'' and her son is unable to approach her. Late at night, using Mizuki's finger, who is asleep from crying, he breaks through the smartphone's fingerprint authentication and registers his own fingerprint.

The next day, while Mizuki was taking a bath, he checked her smartphone and learned from her email and SNS history that his beloved mother had fallen victim to an investment scam and owes millions of yen. Furthermore, he learns that the reason she fell for the scam was because she tried to give her husband a luxury watch, which is his only hobby.

Yoshio was in charge of all his own income and only gave Mizuki the amount of living expenses for his needs, so as a housewife, she didn't have any free money. As he explodes with hatred towards his father, and her husband, he realizes that his love for his mother, Mizuki, is becoming even more distorted....

With his financial strength, it would be a no-brainer for him to shoulder Mizuki's debt. Driven by passionate feelings, he comes up with a plan and pretends to be a fictitious wealthy man, "X'', and sends a threatening email to Mizuki saying, "I am a pervert who gets excited by watching a real parent and child having sex. If you send me a video of you having sex with your son, I will take over the debt depending on the content. If you report it to the police, I will reveal the debt to your husband.''

He then deposited a percentage of the debt into Mizuki's bank account as a deposit. He feels a dark sense of joy as he sees Mizuki clearly upset the next day. Then comes the night of the video trade deadline. Mizuki stealthily sneaks into his room, holding her breath as his chest and cock almost burst with excitement. Those fingers gently touch his rising desire...
