Evenicle 2

  • Language: English

In a world where human civilization is constantly threatened by wild monsters, only the rare few individuals who wield forbidden skills dare challenge them. However, these brave warriors have to face an even more dangerous hazard... because with every Skill they use, a terrible curse eats away at their bodies.

The Hero Syndrome: a mysterious power that causes humans to catch random diseases with every skill they use in combat.

Only Alex - a young doctor wielding the forgotten healing Skill known as "Medica" - can hope to cure all the weird diseases ravaging the world. His unique power lets him administer a miraculous drug synthesized by his body... through the seminal fluid contained in the incredible "syringe" between his legs!

Is this the steam version that has cut out some H content? Or the JAST. Don't know if the JAST has cut scenes.

While I'm not familiar with the distinctions between the Steam version and the JAST version, or if their are other versions as well, note at the top of this page, Just below the the large font size heading "Evenicle 2", the tag "Adult only". That's a very good indication that this is NOT the all ages version with the H content cut out.

Since I can't, in good conscience anyways given I'm a software pirate, exactly write a letter to Alicesoft congratulating them on intelligent, not so much software design but PRODUCT design, I'll leave an ode to them here.

First thing they did right: They actually included a comprehensive instruction manual! (@Ivan Thank you for taking the time to include it.) I thought this to be an extinct art form, but apparently rare examples of this species can still be found in obscure corners of the world!

Second thing they did right: The instruction manual actually tells you where your save files are located! You don't have to hunt for them!

Useful tidbit of info for this title, you NEED a mouse to play this game. There are keyboard controls to mange dialogue and the text history, and you can use the arrow keys or WASD for basic map movement, but there are no keyboard controls for menu navigation or combat.

Alicesoft made a mess of this one compared to the first, a totally rushed mess. If you played the first you will know that the story in the second, does not fit with the first. At the end of the first it leaves you expecting a sequel but although this is the second game of the Evenicle series, it's in no way a sequel. That leaves you feeling like the story writer was not the same person for both games and if the writer for the second game was another person, then they didn't care about carrying on the story from the first game. All that does connect the two games is that one character from the first game briefly appears out of nowhere, to give the characters in the second game an item. So if you did play the first, don't expect a sequel and don't expect anything to make much sense in the second.
