Someone could tell me the dfference between Eiyuu*Senki and Eiyuu*Senki The World Conquest?

 

I played Eiyuu*Senki and there where some bugs and untraslated H-Scenes, also Eiyuu*Senki has less content than the last version of the game or something like that.

I'll make it as simple as possible....There is....NO difference between the current up to date Fan TL and the official JAST version. play either one and you'll get the same game. I recommend the JAST version since its easier and quicker to patch. Though don't actually BUY the JAST version since you'd be supporting JAST....who takes 8 YEARS and counting to TL one game.

Let the creator of the "Fan-version/translated" or whatever you guys call it, answer your question:

 

 

As long as you BUY the Japanese version, go ahead, you'll be supporting the creators of the game.

 

Also, JAST's uncensored version will most likely be just that, the original PC game, with uncensored CGs, without any of the extra stuff from the PS3 or PSVita versions that the patch adds (this is just my guess, as they haven't mentioned anything about content from the other versions). On top of that, knowing JAST, they might not even release it in 2017.

 

So it's really up to you, do you want hours and hours of extra content NOW, or do you want depixelated CGs some time in the future?

 

If you can afford it, I'd say get both (that way, you'll also be supporting JAST and their tendency to release games that already have translations), play the game now with all the extra content, and when JAST releases their version, use a 100% save file and read the H-scenes again (with the official translation, so you won't get bored reading exactly the same stuff) from the Scene Gallery.

 

Keep in mind that if you go with JAST's version only, you'll also be missing out on a lot of extended, alternate and extra scenes, which IMO outweigh the censorship.

Easy answer, the old version reported problems with the game and the english patch on W 10 and some on W 8 while the new version is

I played the fantranslated version, patch version 1.7, patched to the original version from here, and:

 

- there then were no untranslated sex scenes, those were all fan-translated.

- - Quality of translation in the sex scenes: OK. (quality in the main game, official translation : ~50% good, ~50% outrageously bad.)

but actually, for me they would not have been needed to be translated, resp. maybe the sex scenes would have been more sexy had I not been able to understand the

often idiotic text.

- - The sex scenes aren't anything great in the first place - one or maybe two background pictures of sometimes not so great art quality, text, voiced. Everyone, and I mean

EVERYONE of the way over 100 characters is a virgin, so it is one idiotic virgin-sex dialogue (protagonist-side: HORRIBLE!) after the other. I started to skip through the

sex scenes very, very soon.

- - You're not getting sex scenes for all characters, and likeliness is : not for some characters that you would have been interested in (I might have skipped the skipping on

some characters, but never got the chance to. ) I assume those characters then get sex scenes in Eiyuu Senki GOLD.

 

- With that patch v1.7, whenever applicable, you get both: the adult version of a character-sidestory, AND the Playstation-15+ (or whatever it is) version of that character-

sidestory.

Problem with that is : When you do not want to do each of those character-sidestories twice, or not now (limited number of actions per turn.) :

On the one hand those un-used character-sidestory entries clutter up the list of available things to do, much. On the other hand sometimes you HAVE to do both versions,

because only the other version will trigger the next step in that character's sidestory, or even in another character's sidestory. (eg. only Teach's other version of personal sidestory would trigger her next story-bit, and the first story for Kidd. And iirc. that was needed for a really good item, or sth.)

Also, having to do so many sidestories twice kind of disturbs the "natural flow" / progression / immersion.

 

All in all, in hindsight I would have wanted to play the 15+/PS version more than the adult resp. "mixed" version. The playstion versions of them sidestories often were just better, more funny, cute, fitting in. And personally I was annoyed by the 100%-pedophile scene(s), those damaged my enjoyment of those characters, that were otherwise not bad or even favourites (Benkei).

 

Shoul GOLD ever get translated, I then shall try to grab a 15+ version of that over an adult version.

yeah, that fking photobucket trolled wiki so bad. imgur should be the new alternative. not sure if its quite stable though.

but been using it for years and no problem so far.

 

yeah, the quest and quest(alt) is kinda annoying, its kinda a pain to do both versions with limited turns and ruins the momentum.

im playing the fan tl version too.

 

im not sure hows the tl quality in the official version one. but as long as its machine tl and quite accurate although not the best,

i wouldnt mind. my english is subpar anyway xD

 

like you said its kinda funny all them girls are virgins... haha, they kinda overdid making the player feel special i geuss? xD

but so far im loving this porn game... english, lots of girls, not boring gameplay.

 

the game seems to try to appeal to the wide audiences by providing lots of different kinds of girls, from busty to loli.

 

the faces or is it the art, sometimes feels off, for the porn scenes at times.

im playing the fan tl version using the latest patch, im probably around 80% game completion on the hard difficulty of the game. and its the 1st time an untranslated text appeared.

rereading my previous post I want to avoid misunderstanding: I do agree Eiyuu*Senki is a very good game, and so "addictive". The story is good - at least much better than I expected, many characters are fun, entertaining gameplay, cute battle-charas and animations and comments/ battle-cries (to the day I can not read or hear the word Onigiri without "hearing" it shouted out by Lancelot. )

Raising difficulty mode does not disturb the story, the interface/ controls are good (I was at maybe 40, 50% of game when I finally discovered the game supports drag and drop - I felt so idiot! ), noticeably a lot of care went into innumerable small details. and, and, and.

 

This game is really worth its money. I ponder getting myself a Playstation next year (a 4, and my first ps ever), and I hope I can then get a legit version of the game for that.

im not sure hows the tl quality in the official version one.

I understood it so that all non-h translation was taken from the PS version of the game, so is official translation. But maybe I misunderstood.

In any way, I never want to criticise fan-translations - I am purely thankful towards them. And sometimes they are objectively better than official translations.

 

ps - am using imgur since its first year, always was reliable. for the moment I just u-blocked that supersized photobucket replacement image, so at least no more sidescroll on the wiki.
