But I gave it a shot: Little Busters! Edelweiss (and Edelweiss Eiden Fantasia) Kira☆Kira (and Kira☆Kira Curtain Call) DearDrops Most games I play delve into drama at some point so not many are light hearted really. For the most part those two are pretty light hearted and funny to read. I just couldn't think of any others at the time that would be close enough at the time. I can't believe I forgot MGITP though! Light hearted VNs with a story are hard to come by. I could suggest a few ones that mix comedy and drama.. Sharin no Kuni does a wonderful job of this. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Great story with some awesome twists. Katawa Shoujo - Great VN that 4chan helped make possible... emotional routes... definitely give this a try if you want something other than a comedy/light-hearted VN. G Senjou No Maou - Made by the same people as Sharin no Kuni. Awesome protagonist, music is pretty awesome, and the true route is just fantastic. My advice is to watch/play Clannad and others like Ano Hana. Once you're finish, you'll be all good to go. Ton of great VNs out there have moments of drama in them. Every VN is either "real deal" (ie. "serious"/mature themes) or "disney shit" (games without ambition of high literature value, aimed at providing just enjoyment - ie school comedies and similar ones). It's kinda hard to explain it in words, but if you play and compare for example "Swan Song" or "Muv Luv Alternative" with "Wanko to Kurasou" or "Shuffle", then you should get what i mean.
