[Guilty + ] Ran→Sem ～白濁デルモ妻のミイラ捕り～ Unable to start up

Hi All

 

Wondering if anyone can assist, was feelin nostalgic so decided to snag myself an old classic (IMO) from dl site maniax (Name: Ran→Sem). As per the specs, this game is compatible with Windows 7. I tried gettin my locale to jap and tried running compatiblity to windows 7/8/xp everything but the game doesnt seem to start up, a window will try to open and immediately turn off. Was wondering anyone can chime in on any possible solutions? I did some research around, there were some threads talking about using virtual machine to channel windows xp or 7 to run old  eroges like this but if preferable will resort to this as a last resort.

Thanks for the advice, decided to take ur advice and ask for some help in the DL discord. Kinda forgotten what a pain to setup old VN games haha.
