Nice. One of the few projects picked up by nobodies in the last year or two that actually has hope.

I'm not a fan of partials myself, but I'll admit that I was following this project solely for Chisato route.

Now that it's complete, I can go read it and then shelve it ;3

You need to set up a custom display resolution from your graphics card settings menu.

If by some fortunate coincidence your GFX card is an ATI/AMD card, simple enter

catalyst control center and go to display and desktop tab, from a list of resolutions

pick the game's resolution which is 800x600, accept. You'll notice the "black borders"

will return. (This is because your monitor is not upscaling that resolution.) Don't revert this change,

instead go to display option and set the current resolution to "fit the screen." That way

there will be no black borders when playing a game with a resolution lower than your desktop's.

If you have another brand of graphics card, search for a display and desktop option within

it's config menu.

I seem to be having sound problems for this game. The sound stutters, for example, if I mouse over a menu button, the game would beep twice, the beginning of voiced lines would play twice and the end would be cut off early (So som-so something like thi). I've patched the game to version 1.02. I'm using an Asus Xonar DGX sound card with the lastest drivers on Win7.

You problem might not be sound related but codec related.

Just to take precautions, follow these steps to the letter:

-google "directx runtime installer" (download and install)

-google "microsoft NET framework" (download and install the latest version)

-google "k-lite codec pack full" (download and install. When asked what profile to install select: "LAV for everything")

Then try running the game again.

I wouldn't call it a downgrade. It's more like a different style, which doesn't fit the mood of the VN at all.

That said I liked episode 1 a lot, so might give this a chance even if it has this colorful artwork.
