Hello guys! I'll be brief since I'm plenty busy with both work and VN.

Now that we have artists working hard and Dan has joined our ranks as QCer, I can't fall behind! XD

Quick updates:

*Darksin is currently working on sprites, CGs and other screens.

Well this time it's more and more surprises! An artist has joined our ranks!!

We welcome our newest member: DarkSin

He's our Lead artist.

Yup, you read that right. He's taking over the sprites (let's accept it my sprites were not very good XD) and he'll be doing the CG's too!

Anyway, he'll now be helping us with his wonderful art!

But that's not all...

Also a musician has joined our ranks too!! :3

Meet our second newest member: Vokoca

He'll compose/produce some tunes for the VN!

Indeed these are wonderful times for Project Violet!

Hello everyone!

It's been a very busy time at work and I hardly logged in to check things out around here.

We at the staff have been busy as well, with Chocolatemilkgod slamming his head against

his desk as he traverses the "editing hell", our beta testers testing the hell out of the demo,

me drawing shitty sprites like there's no tomorrow and our newest member Maoh, who is hard

at work with the chibi art!

We are proud and happy to present you with this big update, mostly in regards to the art

department. Consider this update an introductory post for the REAL surprise that I will post

Anyway he is hard at work editing DEMO for v3 release and also editing the scripts for chapter 2.

Anyway here is the lowdown of how I somehow ended drawing the character sprites for Violet hill.

Plan A: Find an artist willing to help us do the sprites (FAILED)

Plan B: Keep at it (FAILED)

Plan C: Go nuts and nearly kill something (SUCCEEDED)

Plan D: Go for contingency plan E.

Plan E: No contingency plan.

Failproof plan: "Do it yourself"

And that's how I ended doing it. Such labour is going to take me ages as I'm not a very good artist but here's the progress so far anyway. XD

Weapons:

-Several $%& expensive books on how to draw manga/anime

-Hours of youtube tutorials

-My Intuos 7 drawing tablet

-Faith

It all started with Rin's sketch....

In the end the result was better than I expected, and we got this first sprite of Rin (Alpha)

Thus, the ordeal continued once again with all heroines..
