Coμ, and by god it's terrible. Incredibly awkward fighting scenes that make little to no sense at all: Bite of the arm of a quick and agile fighter, -> no follow-up, tell the other person you're with to run away instead of finishing off a weakened opponent that is much faster than you, giving them the chance to recover and kill you, which obviously doesn't actually happen because *plot convenience* And then the constant "the attack is too fast, we cannot dodge it, it is impossible to dodge the attack, the attack cannot be dodged, we were about to be hit by the attack that we could no

Not sure why that'd be so shocking, I'd still play the hell out of Sengoku Rance without the H-scenes

Some of the requirements include conversations with the other alchemist and having him study Aht, experimenting on Aht using some kind of crafted compound I believe (or Will decides against it, but you still need to do the build-up towards it) Basically they're supposed to have talked about Aht still containing some impurities, and Will considers removing them and turning Aht into a pure rock golem, but decides against it or something because that'd stop Aht from being Aht or w/e. Never had issues with this particular quest so I'm not sure what went wrong, if you did all events leading u

If reading other Key works has proven anything, it's not going to get any better toward the end. Arbitrary, nonsensical, out-of-place drama inbound. (yes I'm sour about rewrite)

Yea for me the typical moonlogic did me in, the first red flag was raised when after being an isolated loner all his life his first choice when having escaped his prison and being inevitably wanted by the authorities was: "I wanna go to school!" He has no reason to believe people are nice, absolutely none, everyone he's had pleasant interaction with had either abandoned him or caused him suffering indirectly and yet he's still clinging to the belief that people are the nicest thing ever and totally worthy of his trust. Sure, I'll accept people this insane can exist, but I prefer logic over

Welp, off to a good start, albeit a bit awkward with what can only be described as "typical Japanese moonlogic" that and having read for only about 15 minutes I can already smell the TRAGEDY coming a mile away...

Still working slowly through Higurashi, it's good enough not to rush Finally finished Lucia route of rewrite (and by finished I mean skipped through the majority of the latter bits when the story went full retard) and I'm struggling between continuing on for the good parts (first half was great) or avoiding more of the utterly awful drivel that was the second half which is pretty much been confirmed to continue to be awful in each route....

Ultimate☆Boob Wars!! ~Big Breasts vs Flat Chests~
censuur replied to Grandork's topic in Eroge General Talk
Anyone know a good brain surgeon? I seem to have developed a spontaneous aneurysm from simply reading the intro, detailing the religious history of.... ow.... my head.... -
So I'm currently reading rewrite and got stuck doing Lucia's route first and I'm starting to wonder what the hell happened and when the story goes back to being bearable.
-
Let's not gloss over the fact that he jumps from extra to.... I'm not sure what the second half of the review is reviewing, the latter part of alternative is where the story really takes off and never at any point does the protagonist literally fight gods and goddesses, nor is he shown to be remotely capable of doing so (talented at piloting a mech maybe, but never unreasonably so) Seems like your average troll review, good for some laughs though :]

What would you have done? (Grisaia Amane route spoilers)
censuur replied to censuur's topic in Eroge General Talk
I thank you for your contributions, you were very insightful in your theories, I'm personally a bit anxious towards Grisaia 2-3 as the Amane route left me with a bad aftertaste, the idea of the worst of it being potentially continued is somewhat disheartening, but your arguments so far leave me to believe that they might still come up with a reasonable explanation for it all. -

What would you have done? (Grisaia Amane route spoilers)

[spoiler=Kazuki] A cracked arm is in many cases worse than a broken one, a broken bone can be set, a cracked bone will often need to be surgically repaired or removed, also even when stripping human meat from the bones, unless you have dedicated tools for the job (and something to wash the bones with) you will leave quite a lot of tissue on the bones, due to variance in body sizes it would be obvious to see through the absurd trick of re-arranging bones even to a casual observer, let alone a forensic analyst, the bodies would also be retrieved as complete as possible for burial purposes so it' -
What would you have done? (Grisaia Amane route spoilers)
censuur replied to censuur's topic in Eroge General Talk
Honestly no need for the spoiler tags so much, this is a spoiler thread after all. Anyway, her injury was very real, at the start they clearly state that her arm was visibly broken, even assuming she nursed it perfectly and was feeding herself properly it wouldn't have healed so well and so quickly. Assuming once more that she was well-fed throughout the ordeal (certainly possible) and that she wanted to keep most people there just for the sake of faking her own death (the idea that you can fool forensics using said "carrot trick" is laughably absurd, and the corpses wouldn't have been stri -
What would you have done? (Grisaia Amane route spoilers)
censuur replied to censuur's topic in Eroge General Talk
The main problem is the inconsistency in her repertoire, she knows exactly how to guide Amane with little but written instructions, knows how to apply advanced medical care, which plants are edible and even displays social prowess to the point of predicting the behavior of a group of highly unstable teenage girls despite having little to no social experience. Even considering she read a staggering number of books, the problem remains that books generally do not contain conclusive information, certainty based of second hand experience, let alone accuracy, is utterly absurd. Yet Kazuki managed a -
So basically, if you've read the route then by now you've probably realized that Probably couldn't survive in her own back yard, the amount of ways to survive the set of circumstances this so called "genius" utterly failed to realize are so considerable I couldn't help but ponder them, and I figure it might be interesting to discuss just what YOU would have done under these circumstances, how you would have reacted and also, how realistic those ideas would ultimately be. First of all, let me separate these categories for the sake of clarity; Survival by rescue(simple): Simple eno

What is the last eroge you finished, and what do you think about it?
censuur replied to Maxar's topic in Eroge General Talk
Just finished Grisaia's Amane route, there are no words to describe just how awful this route was, consistency was terrible, pacing was terrible, I'd say more but those would probably be spoilers. -
gynecology, you can also break it up by using gym, I'm fairly sure no words start with ym, unless we use names like Ymir

Nevermore... I don't want to sound to pretentious going for words like nebulous :|

Either Gerard the lone wolf is a fucking sage or you're just trolling, you've said exactly the things he claimed stupid people would be saying (Natsumi being androphobic, lol) and the whole comparison of Muv-Luv alternative with naruto (Seen it claimed a lot but I have yet to see a single argument to support it, I wonder why....)
-
Another thing I should add is that the restriction that you finished the game can dilute the result, many people who dislike a VN won't finish it, so you will only get results from people who liked something, bumping up the final score significantly.

I just can't help but wonder why you rate a game like G-senjou the same as Gadget trial, which despite not having a horrible story has terrible gameplay segments that detract more than they add. The problem with large lists is that when you score things, you do so in how they were in relation to others, the bigger the list the more that effect is going to be clustered rather than affecting the list as a whole. What were the conditions you used to rate the games? If it is purely how you rated your experience with them, that is also strongly affected by things like mood, expectations and whateve
