Finished Gokukoku no Brynhildr. It was an interesting show overall but the last three episodes were so much pain to watch. Basically they decided to shove such a huge amount of senseless stuff done your troath that even vormiting isn't enough to free yourself from that sick feeling. And the pacing was just atrocious. Weakest 6/10 I've given so far, I may change it to 5/10 in the future.

So right now I'm sitting in a train to visit my family and what the fuck is wrong with today's girls? Like so far I've seen ten 8-12 years old girls who were all styled up and were talking about fashion and shit. Like what the? In that age you should explore the world and learn about life and not lose yourself to fashion magazins. In my childhood girls would play with boys in the forest but I guess times are changing right? It still feels iritating though. Also writing with my mobile phone sucks ass.

^Me getting upset about the CG above definitely is a sign that she has the potential to become my second or third inofficial waifu (second one is Mary from Sharnoth so far). It really is refreshing to feel attracted to a char like that after a long while.

Well over the years I slowly got used to fall for side characters who have no screen time whatsoever. It still sucks though because every time I see Hotaru's sprite (or hear her voice) I'm going haaaa~

Actually there are a couple of visual novels I started to play but never finished but all of them are rather serious and like I said before I wanted something light, that's the only reason why I started Konosora. My backlog is huge as well btw.

Inganock wasn't that good iirc. Art was amazing, BGM as well but the story rather meh. Especially the ending was nothing but a huge question mark and the battles were boring because every monster got destroyed by the protagonist's almighty hand of epicness... in one hit. It's funny though how they always tried to build up tension when you already know the fight will be over in some seconds anyway.

Edit: The wheelchair heroine is really cute so far, slightly tsundere from time to time

Yep, I started to watch the anime some days ago and in episode 10 they switched over to the opening I linked... which I definitely welcome because the first opening is a piece of shit. The anime itself is interesting so far and I can definitely see some potential especially for character development. Unfortunately though it seems that the anime was supposed to get 20 episodes but for whatever reasons it was cut down to 13 so most likely it'll end in a terrible way. And it feels very similiar to Elfen Lied... which isn't a huge surprise because some random guy on MAL told me the manga was written by same guy who did Elfen Lied, duh.

Believe it or not but I'm actually playing a visual novel right now. I decided to finally start playing Konosora since the restoration patch seems kinda okay and I was looking for something lighthearted anyway. So far all I can say is that it looks pretty and Hotaru (imouto of the childhood friend) seems totally like my type of girl... I bet my ass she's a side character without much screen time though.

Also once again I don't understand why they decided to use a 15year old protagonist for a serious kind of story. It never made sense and it never will. All it does is destroy the atmosphere. Oh well, 6/10

Nah, I don't hate short hair at all... although I do prefer long hair. That picture was nothing more than an attempt to create some sort of running joke after that Katangatari "accident". I mean in Titan she changed her haircut in the second episode and in such a short amount of time I'm not able to feel affection towards a character and so I didn't mind it. Basically she had longer hair in 8% of the episodes. Katangatari is a different case though because she had long hair for more than half the show and her hair was the center of many scenes... but we had that topic already haha.

Deadman Wonderland seems interesting so far.

Rest assured I only finished Chobits and Titan in your absence. The other anime I added to my list are, like you already guessed, shows I watched in my childhood. And while I don't feel like giving them a score I still think they belong on my anime list. Currently I'm watching Deadman Wonderland and with all that blood it kinda reminds me of Elfen Lied.

PS: I'm still annoyed that the female main character of Titan cut her hair off btw...

Finished Shingeki no Kyojin, great anime overall but as expected it had a weak ending. I'm definitely hyped for the second season though: 8/10

I finished Chobits a few moments ago and what can I say? Anime was shit but Chi most likely is the cutest thing ever.

+ BGM was very simple but catchy nevertheless

+ Chi, obviously

- protagonist was extremly bad

- way too much randomness

- story didn't go anywhere until the last 4 episodes

So basically the only thing that prevented me from dropping the anime was Chi. Because of that I can't recommend this anime at all: very weak 6/10 (I may change it to a 5/10 later, you never know)

And once again I've to blame MAL for its stupid scoring system because otherwise I would rate the first season with 6.4/10... which isn't really meh if you ask me. I couldn't give it a 7/10 though because when specific situations finally got interesting they moved over to humor to calm things down. They didn't do that in the second season and that's why I liked it a lot more. Also 8man is an amazing character, just saying.

Oh and be sure to give me your thoughts on the anime when you finished it.

Finished "Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru Zoku" a few moments ago. Really interesting anime because the protagonist has really interesting thoughts and he solves problems in an unique way. Unfortunately though the ending was horseshit... as expected. It was all about "go and buy the LN bitches~" instead of ending the show in a somewhat acceptable way. Because of that I give it 7/10.

I finished Katanagatari a few moments ago and overall it was a really good anime: 8/10

It got a little bit boring around the middle though especially because some fights were resolved in a very easy way. Like they built up a lot of tension beforehand but the actual fight was over in a matter of seconds. The ending was okay-ish but holy macaroni dat sudden personality change of the protagonist, I fucking loved it. The scene were he walked from room to room and defeated all the swords felt a little bit streched but you gotta love Shichika's true form. Also, they showed that hottie at the end with long hair... didn't make me feel better about that whole haircut change but at least they did something haha.

Actually there are a lot of anime, or stories in general, where a wimpy protagonist is essential. Like f/sn without Shirou wouldn't be amazing at all. And while an essential wimp will improve the story it still doesn't mean that I've to like him. Same goes for the protagonist of Katanagatari. He works well for the story but this doesn't make him more likeable... at least for me. I might change my mind though if he's able to bring back the original haircut of that hottie.

It's funny that you mentioned Evangelion because I planned to watch that anime multiple times. Unfortunately it never happened because dear god I fucking hate mecha. I'll watch it eventually though because like you said it seems to be more about the characters... then again, what am I lying for, you know me, it's not going to happen.

I started to watch Katanagatari some days ago because apparently you liked it a lot. So far it's really good (although I hate the protagonist) but why did she have lose her hair? It was her selling point god dammit! At least give me a major reason for her new hair cut. Now I won't be able to see any of those sweet "use my hair as a blanket" scenes anymore. And actually, most sweet scenes so far were about her hair. Also, she doesn't look as hot as before anymore. So what is this blasphemy? =(

So basically I want you to tell me that her hair will grow back even if it's a lie. Because Togame with short hair? Fuck this shit!
