After TLwiki was C&D'd by CUFFS, they chickened out and Visual Novel Aer took over the project but I pressume they probably were C&D'd by CUFFS again so you can pretty much consider Yasuga No sora a dead project until by some miracle they post an update.

They did post an update about a week ago saying the Akira route was about 9.5% translated. Guess i'll believe it when I see it.

Not yet, but look for it to be released real soon. He's still waiting on one or two more beta reports to come in. Should just be a couple more days.

I've said it before but I've been iffy on that Yosuga No Sora translation group. They said they were going to release a 50% patch about 3 months ago. There has been no word on that patch ever since then. Guess we'll see what goes down.

Yep, that's definitely the website. Pretty sure this is who they are referring to. I'm sure its in english, but I have no idea how it is quality wise. No idea why they are keeping the patch exclusive to the forum as well.

Yeah, and it was ~20% since the end of March. Not complaining or anything. The translator even said that progress will be very slow since he has real life stuff to deal with but i wouldn't expect the route to get done anytime soon.

Meh, not much to say this week. School Days will most likely have a late June release. A good amount of VNs will be released this Fall and Winter. It's gonna be a good one.

Ah...I see. Do you know what the girls say at the end of each route? There's a -FIN- screen, then they say a line but it's not translated, and there's no text it's just a voice.

How do you uncensor the Hcgs? I just started asuhos first hentai scene and it's all pixelly (censored). I deleted the graph_vis file, but I guess that was only for Mares route.

Sex scenes are censored most of the time in Japanese VNs you run into. They'll always censor his weiner and her vagina. You can't fix this. Not a huge deal though. The deal with Mare's route was that the translator completely blocked her scene. So instead of seeing her scene, you would see a page of dolphins.

Okay, so there is a workaround to the skip function that is broken. I haven't tested this 100%, but other people have had this work for them and I tried it with one route and it worked. Skipping the common route should work just fine, so you can use skip there all you want and it should work. The problem is text is skipped on the the specific routes. What you have to do is turn off the skip function the moment you go from the common route to a specific route.

Spoiler below if you haven't completed the common route at least once

In other words, just stop the skip function right before you enter a girls route. Turning on the skip function after you are in a specific route should be fine now and it won't be broken.

Please do not discuss this spoiler here, as other people are still playing the common route. This should fix the broken skip.

hello i'm new to the site and the game i'm trying to get it running i haven't had any errors that have be said in this thread but i have been getting a ect/038 error after i finish talk to the girl at the lookout. i get the error when the boy wakes up and someone is yelling at him. and when i get the error if i hit the ok button it shuts the game down so that is a far as i get i haven't even had a chance to start a route yet.

You need to apply the bugfix patch located here. NOTE - you have to install the bugfix before you install the english patch. You should reinstall the game just in case. Just follow the steps killerinsidee made in the first post.

I used the same guide and it worked fine for me. Did you finish Aoi's route all the way through? You didn't close it when you got to the credits or anything did you?

I don't even want to waste my time responding to half the bullshit she wrote. I can't speak much for Otome VNs since I haven't played many yet. I'm just wondering...what the fuck is she playing? Outside of Nukiges, most of the shit she ranted about aren't even themes in Eroge games. There's a certain niche that enjoys that kind of stuff and i'm sure there are VNs out there that fill her criteria... just looks like a stupid rant on a needless subject.

I haven't used TA for any VNs yet but for the most part what you see right now is what you'll probably get with most other VNs. It probably works a bit better with simple love stories. VNS with a complicated story as well as VNs with a lot of important focus on the supernatural will probably be harder to decipher. This is just what i'm assuming, maybe someone who has used TA can answer the question.

Downloaded it. Might actually try it out if its at least readable with TA.
