Huntress of Nipurheim looks decent and I find it bizarre that there's a "Ongoing debate regarding sound effects translation". Is recording audio from slapping a wet towel against the floor no longer considered in vogue?

What sound does a creampie make? Is it a "Jbyuuuu" or more like a "bluuuuuut". Translating onomatopoeia is one of the sillier wastes of time, they should just use the format most TV shows use for closed captions. [Creampie Sound effect]

Harmonica's make everything lazier.

I am playing the Witchy Man III. This game feels like watching a movie or TV show each time you sit down to play it, really just an amazing game. Kinda peeved I didn't finish Witchy Man II sooner.

It's gotta be Yu-No hands down. The point n click gameplay really works for an adventure VN plus because its old it gives some serious nostalgia value for its music and art.

Katawa Shoujo is the best romance VN on the site. If you're looking for something fun to play I highly recommend Kamidori Alchemy Meister or Bunny Black, just a heads up these are h-rpgs.

The best game on here is, in my opinion, Kara no Shoujo. It's a murder mystery set in post war Japan with an excellent supporting cast.

Hello Grandork, for updates on Shin Koihime Musou please check the Visual Novel Translation Status thread. It's usually posted by either Pasa or Littleshogun, two members here.

So who are the major players as far as H-RPGs go? I've seen some buzz about Dieselmine and other DLsite circles and some of the translators on ULMF and F-95 translating them but is there any organized effort to market H-RPGs similar to how Mangagamer is pushing out eroge?

I think that loli/shota is the elephant in the room as far as anything being translated or sold in western markets goes because yeah, there is no way getting around it, it is depictions of underage girls/boys albeit totally fabricated.

Everyone likes to yell "It's a scandal! Finally this will sink [insert company name]!" but if there's what thing we should have learned by now it's that people really really want japanese visual novels and eroge. Whether they're willing to pay money for it is another matter entirely.
