  1. Oh god that's a hard one. In reality, it's Majikoi. But seeing as Wairu fell off a cliff and died, that won't be happening anytime soon (hence me wanting to translate it myself). So my next in line would be Cou probably. However, if Shin Koihime Musou ever got started that would easily take the number one spot. I don't usually play nukiges, but I'm interested in Mezase and Zubu that I said in the last post. However, they aren't popular titles so I'm not hoping for much. *sigh* CGs exist for this reason.
  2. Hey, well I'm pretty satisfied with this week. Boob War 2, Ayakashibito, and Cou. All games I want to play. Not to mention, raidy 3 might be getting some work now, jsut finished 2 last week and am really looking forward to it! But, the things that would make me do a backflip: Majikoi S, Majikoi A, Shin Koihime Musou, more Muv-Luv titles (don't care which), Zubu Nure no Ane Kasumi, Mezase Ero Mangaka, and that about it that I can think of off the top of my head. By the way, what are the chances of those last 2 getting started up? (I'm trying to avoid talking any more about the team until I
  3. No mate! Definitely keep working at it, it took me about a year to get this far, so don't give up And thank you guys for the recommendations, I don't play Dota, but I understand your sentiments. Thanks a bunch
  4. No, we didn't advertise as making money. This is just another thing to toss on a resume. But no, what I was saying is I am getting a team together to start translations, but I've been the head of a game design group for the past 6 years. I do both :3 But on that note, Gerard is right. I am still getting the team together. What we need are recommendations of easy games to work on THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN TRANSLATED so that I can show the coders what to do. After that, assuming the team is still going to be together, THEN we will move over towards the harder games. So for the time being, hold y
  5. This has got to be the most random place I have ever posted my work, but I love visual novels and figured I couldn't be the only one here that also loves FPS games. Figured a few of you might appreciate some of my work, I put a lot of thought and time into my channel. Hope you might check me out, my YouTube name is "Shado Gremory" or "/user/slgremory". Would love it if you guys might give me some feedback on my work, even if you don't play the games I do! Have a wonderful day, and happy belated Valentine's Day ~Shadolance
  6. The games we are working on haven't been released for anyone to play yet. Currently my team is working on 6 games at once, 3 of which are a part of a series. They are as follows: (Series - AoS) 1.) Arc of Shadows 2.) Army of Shadows 3.) Title pending (will have initials AoS) These are tactical singleplayer games that are modeled off of Final Fantasy Tactics, but have graphics and calculators similar to Fire Emblem. The third game has much of the planning done, but no working title or storyline. All we have are the mechanics, which are the same throughout the entire series. If you're inter
  7. Talked to Tits this morning, he is literally a failure at English, but he's got to be one of the best programmers I've ever met. Hopefully he knows how to work with this stuff.
  8. I'm feelin pretty into it, but remember I'm on a campus of 20K+ students. A lot of people see the bulletin boards every day, and I covered all the cafeterias. Otherwise, we do want to work on 3-4 projects at once, since a lot of us have free time. As for the meetup thing, I also run a game design group for indie games, and having a place to meet up is a must have. Couldn't work without it, so I'm kinda OCD about it. But on your skeptical note, I do fully understand that. To be TOTALLY honest I was a bit surprised myself, and I am still skeptical as to how motivated these guys are. We all JU
  9. To everyone who said the fliers idea wouldn't work.... HA! Got 8 people all ready to go. That was issue 1/3. However, now we have issue number 2/3: finding a place to work. We all live across campus from each other so at best we could meet once per week, which isn't good. Right now we're looking for a place to work together in case we need to spend the night. After that... the last issue will be having the coders play a few games first so they get the idea. Any ideas for test games they could try? Don't recommend games that you like, recommend ones that have fantastic GUIs. I'll make a separat
  10. Finished making the fliers. I'm calling for a team of 20 people to translate 3 games at once. I'm going to head it. Wish me luck, I'm going to need it. (Room mate scoffed at me)
  11. Alright, simply due to me being dogshit tired of not having enough translation groups, I'm putting up flier around UC Berkeley to put a team together for this stuff. I'm a programmer (CS major) with a lot of free time this year surprisingly, and Berkeley has 20K+ students. I'm sure I can find someone, wish me luck.
  12. I shat myself when I read that, especially in the last week's thread I had JUST asked when it was going to be started.
  13. I'm trying to stay positive here guys Don't take that away from me! *cries a bit*
  14. THIS IS THE WEEK WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR! This, my friends, is the path out of darkness! -Grisaia no Meikyuu is started! -Coμ has more progress! -Walkure Romanze same as above -Seina has progress D This week was a good week. Today is a good day.
  15. Sorry mate, I just can't stand older animation styles. There are FEW exceptions, and most of them are anime, not VNs. I like Ranma 1/2, and I like most of the stuff by MangaGamer. That's about it though.
  16. Too bad I agree with Higanbana sucking. And blowing.
  17. To those of you that helped me this week with the info on Grisaia no Miekyuu, kudos, thanks, aregatou!
  18. Thank you all for the help so far! Keep the recommendations coming, I've already found 3 new VNs to play (albeit they are somewhat short, about 8-10 hours apiece) courtesy of Riddle and Onemanarmy! Please keep recommending more
  19. I played it when it first got translated, I just don't update my VN lists often... or like ever...
  20. Title says it all, looking forward to these and would love them to be considered Pretty sure I'm not the first to post this though...
  21. Hey guys, I recently posted a short comment about this in the weekly status updates, but I wanted to make a thread for it too. I'm in need of recommendations for games that are similar to the following three: Koihime Musou Maji de Watashi Grisaia Kajitsu Now, I'll say this ahead of time but I've played a TON of VNs, like a metric fuckton. I just want ideas, preferably ones that have complete, currently translating, or almost complete translations for most of the routes. Any and all suggestions are great, but I warn you: If it's a mainstream VN like G-Senjou, I'VE PLAYED IT, OR I DROPPED
  22. I appreciate you trying to help... but we've spent the past 2 weeks pointing out that I've already played G-Senjou, dislike Clannad and DA Capo, and already plan on playing/watching Little Busters... read the previous posts before replying :/ It's almost comical, because those have been the EXACT VNs I've been commenting on for the past 2 months XD EDIT* After re-reading that, it sounds a bit cynical. I don't mean it to sound that way, I really do appreciate you trying to help, but the points are sadly already made If you have other recommendations though I'd love to hear them.
  23. On a different note though, does anyone know a couple of things: 1) When/If Grisaia Meikyuu is going to be translated? 2) Games that are similar to Grisaia Kajitsu/Majikoi/Koihime Musou?
