    persona 3

You don't need to play the previous ones - they're all separate stories. If you want an in-depth walkthrough, gamefaqs should have plenty. (full social link guide, persona fusing guide, etc) And as for tips... Well, fuse new personas as soon as you can. Once you reach lv 8, try fusing a Lilim - its multiple element attacks can come in pretty handy. Also, don't overexert your characters - if more than one enters "tired" status, get out and save/rest. In the first couple areas, get ready to be constantly killed. P3 isn't easy, and the party member AI isn't always the brightest (I'm loo
  2. Saw it on commie's RSS feed - seems interesting... And the art style's cool. Let's see how it goes.
  3. I normally use torrents because I can just leave them sitting there - I've been using hosters a bit too, speaking of which, I was able to get a file from DA without issues this time around. And I've noticed that it does indeed support resuming downloads. How big was SD again? 10+ GB?
  4. Lemme guess Ryu: The infamous imageshack frozen frog? Just use bugmenot to login to IS.
  5. ^ Pretty much this. Hell, I know some still prefer to use XP. I use XP, but in a virtual machine though. Also, anyone who watched Idiocracy: I don't think I like where this is going.
  6. Windows 8 will have two modes that will differ greatly: Metro (aka shit) mode, and regular desktop mode. Regular desktop programs work exactly like in old Windows, albeit with a "flatter" Aero style. Metro apps, on the other hand, are pretty much oversized cell phone apps. One can switch modes by hitting a key or touching some button, can't remember.. Just think of Metro as a full-screen size window where you run metro apps, like when using a virtual machine. VNs and main productive software will most likely keep the classic "desktop" interface. I don't think 8 is going to be popular
  7. I'll give this a whirl - as Sokyra said, it shouldn't be too hard to decipher the translations. I'm sure it will mess up whenever any of these supernatural technobabble words come up, but I don't think it'll be hard to re-piece together.
  8. Basically, it was making that error if the windows username was a certain one. Considering there's a slight possibility that other random people in the world could use this very same username, they would have the error too. I edited the executable and put in my vm's username on it instead. Result...? Instant crash. So that's pretty much it. Either renaming the windows user or using a different user altogether would easily, EASILY override this mechanism.
  9. Yeah, I noticed when I "connected the dots" here and there. Thanks :] Now to continue on with the next route.
  10. @that guy: Thanks for the tips. Just edited the file. Haven't cleared even the **** girl route yet, but it's handy to have a fix beforehand. What's that E supposed to do in the original file, though? Just curious... EDIT: Oh, didn't notice it was a specific case about that second byte. Disregard!
