Oh my god, I've been trying to make this fix work all night, I couldn't get it, but THIS worked! THANK YOU!!!

So, this game is super fucked up, but I sorta dig it. I'm using the guide that came with the English patch. Does anyone know what the dashes -- indicate? Does that mean the choice doesn't matter, or...what, there?

You probably need to make sure your computer is in Japanese locale, and run the game as an administrator, always. It won't work properly otherwise.
