I have an inquiry of my own. Does anybody know a crack that works with the v. 1.30 official patch of the game ? The Alpharom one that is widely available from various sources does not work with the updated exe, and the 1.30 patch would allow not to use the 100% save to sidestep the v 1.00 bug (the game sometimes picking the wrong choice) the translators warned about.

From what I understand from the translators' page, this might happen because you have the bugged first version of the English patch. Have you tried to download and apply the most recent version of the patch (or the 'update 2 & 3 pac files' portion of the patch that have been posted separately by them) ?

I'm much looking forward to play Last Resort. I tried machine translation out of impatience but I realized it is too good a story-driven game for MT to be a pleasant experience. I wonder if they are going to translate the routes of the Sweetest Summer and Harem patches. I certainly hope so.

Being a fan of the sex-change subgenre I've played pretty much all the existing VN with this theme, and the only translated ones I'm aware of are Seitankan and the X-Change series (1,2,3, Alternative 1). As a rule in X-Change games there are most routes where the MC turns back into a man and ends up with that route's heroine. There are also a few routes where the MC stays a girl and ends up with an heroine or a male hero. In the vanilla X-Change series the sex change seriously increases the horniness/sluttiness quotient of the MC, so (s)he also has a lot of 'exploratory' sex with oneself, men,

The Eroge! menu seems to include an option to block the scat stuff. I've yet to check if it's effective, since I'm halfway with the first route of the tsundere artist, but if it works, I'm thankful for its existence and wish more nukiges had it.

Honestly, I've seen worse than depositfiles as far as free DL speed goes. But its true value shines as it is pretty much the only site in my experience to keep valid links for uploads older than a few months. When I was looking for somewhat old games and neither this site nor a torrent helped, it often solved the problem.

Actually I'm eagerly waiting for it. I have a lot of use for more translated slice of life comedy. I don't mind complicated plots, but I'm not so mad for them, and I don't care at all for annoying utsuge or tiresome gore.

Does this mean there shall be no translation of Pure White Symphony ? I don't care much about ef, but I would definitely feel the loss if Mashiro Iro Symphony is dropped when the common route is almost done.

This seems to have a premise similar to (a hopefully less angsty) Edelweiss, as well as Harukoi Otome. Does anybody know if they mean to release a common-route patch, and how long it is in comparion to the rest of the game ? If a partial patch is coming soon, and it covers a decent portion of the game, I may consider grabbing a copy already.

Very Nice. This is one of the VNs I'm eager to finish, with Fortune Arterial, Majikoi (its incomplete state is holding me up from S and A), and Akatsuki no Goei. I remember the translator gave warning that a full translation would not be ready by 9/9 but with this recent progress rate, I find it hard to believe. At the very least we shall surely get a partial patch with all the other routes by September. Too bad Miu is my preferred character.

I've decided to drop Zetsuen no Tempest after discovering (from tvtropes, a great resource to get valuable hints about the character of any fiction) that magic is lost in the finale. I detest the 'Magic Goes Away' trope. What do you guys think of Mai-Otome ? I got the impression that it might be enough of a shonen/seinen magical girl series to fit my interests (like Nanoha), and the 'Person of Mass Destruction' trope entices me, although I have serious reservations about the 'Virgin Power' trope, it is another one I strongly dislike. My-Hime has the same depowerment finale problem as Zetsu

I don't mind comedy and romance/harem anime/manga as long as the main character is reasonably badass/competent/proactive and/or is as 'exceptional' in his own way as his magical girlfriend(s). I am annoyed by pathetic doormats, idiots, and butt monkey MC getting p*ssy thrown in their face for no good reason. As it concerns the 'nice loser/unlucky everydude with hidden qualities getting a lot of love', it is a borderline case.
