  1. Finished this story! I wanted to do this story since I listened to the ending song. That was long ago (last year) and I couldn't find it on erogedownload. But now it got translated! Yay! I was actually interested in how they would depict the boy getting eaten by the dragon, like in the song. Would have been interesting. The storyline's pretty messed up, what with all the "World Is Perfect" stuff. But the art is nice and I was entranced by some of the musics. There are many interesting things to note, but I'll keep it at that.
  2. I got it to work. Basically I needed to install AFTER I have changed the system locale to Japanese. I also changed my Language format to Japanese, though I don't know if that was necessary. Now the game folder has a proper Japanese name, neat!
  3. Okay, I have changed to Japanese locale. Next error:
  4. This error occurs when I press the shortcut. I think it also happens when I press sharin.exe. When I mount the ISO or MDS file, it autoplays the setup.exe after a looooooong time (maybe it's just my computer.) Clicking the autoplay also leads to a looooong waiting time before setup.exe reacts and opens the installation window. The installation window is in gibberish language.
  5. Ack. I downloaded Sharin no Kuni from Tsundere's link, but can't seem to get the patch to work. I mounted the ISO and MDS, installed the game in Jap, then extracted the patch in the folder with sharin.exe. When I mount again with Daemon Lite, either nothing happens, or I get an error.
  6. Hmm, many of the stories seem pretty dark... I guess it's good for helping me develop mental toughness.
  7. My Number 5 requirement was unclear. I meant "No stories that are exclusively yuri." Thanks for the suggestions I'll check them out. EDIT: I like tsunderes too . Biribiri is one of my favorites.
  8. So I'm back coz I feel like playing some eroge again. Being the lazy ass I am, I'd like to have you all suggest something for me instead of finding games myself. How efficient right? Here are my criteria: 1. Very good graphics 2. Okay to excellent storyline 3. Each branch is difficult to complete 4. At least two girls 5. No yuri Hope my standards are not too restrictive
  9. @Nobu: My condolences. I suppose for light novels and english novels I might not form a strong impression (I'm too lazy to imagine entire scenes...it would take too long for me go through the whole plot). But with manga and anime, the effects are pretty pronounced. That's the reason I don't read Gintama's and Danshi Koukousei's mangas for example.
  10. One serving of Princess Lover! would be great. I like all the girls, which is rare. Other than that Zero no Tsukaima and Mashiro iro Symphony. I want to play Siesta's and Airi's route.
  11. I don't usually go through both anime and manga, especially if I had gone very far with either one, because I would have developed preconceptions by then. I wouldn't want my mental "images" to be destroyed. Since I went through the whole manga, I will give the anime a pass.
  12. In English if possible, but Japanese is OK too. I just need to copy, paste and compare then >.
  13. @PhiBrainChild: Gore, huh? Don't know if this qualifies but I recently played Bible Black. The story itself is intriguing, but the behavior of the characters was nerve-wrecking to me...and I think that later there would be some 'gory' scenes where a girl gets sacrificed. Still...(I find the thought of a naked girl being stabbed exciting.) But really, the way they build the tension of the story is nerve-wrecking, I have trouble playing it anymore than 2 hours. By the way, how is Phi Brain's story going? I stopped at around episode 12 or 13 because it felt too slow for me. EDIT: There
  14. Love Death 555 strangely seems to have a Chinese visual design.
  15. @ultimecea: Off-topic but yes. The story progression is too slow (and trivial) for me, I literally feel my head slow down. After about 8 hours of gameplay I stopped playing. Also, there aren't many options to make, so it's like watching anime. And like I said in my previous thread, I HATE slow-paced anime. Also, Tsutomu's getting on my nerves.
  16. Uncensored. Censored pictures look weird, most of the time.
  17. I haven't tried Yukino's route. Of the other three, I like Ell the most. Cute face, cute voice, innocent reactions ===> moeeeeeee!
  18. Mini-bumping the thread. As I played Nemu's route I did find some misspellings. Maybe only 2-4 though. Like "wired" instead of "weird" in one of the final scenarios (Page 10/10 of the Scenario Extras). Some expressions (also very few) were a little odd. In the final scenario, Junichi said "But that's not what I'm saying", but I think the more accurate translation would be "But I'm not going to say that out loud" based on the context of the proceeding sentence.
  19. It's just an idealistic scenario. It's not like I expect it to exist. It's true I have high standards...though it's true with everything I do. No save because...it'll make your choices more 'consequential'...like real life. I like simulations...especially ones that 'pull you in'. @Red Panda: Except that in real life you don't have girls acting and reacting like that. And real life is complicated by other things like studies, people, work, people....and you can't try multiple endings either . You might also start out with an ugly face and uninteresting body. Number one seems reas
  20. 1. Number of total options is about 500. 2. Options that one should choose often relates to the personality of the heroine and others involved in the event. 3. Story carries on like real life; even though you are following one heroine's route, events still occur with other heroines. 4. It is possible diverge into another heroine's route to some extent until a certain point (maybe if you've complete 95% of the current heroine's route, then other routes get cut off). 5. There is no save function. Opinions?
  21. Her skirt is too short.
  22. @Ray: . @ultimecea: @VNHunter: Yes, I liked Hayate x Hinagiku the most in the anime, but I like Athena in the manga. At first I thought her hair was too curly (impression from the anime), so I didn't really like the design. But in the manga it wasn't very curly at all. She exuded an aura of maturity and gave an ojou-sama kind of feeling. Which makes her quite interesting to me. I guess I like the dere-dere ojou-samas. For H x H, I like them because they often misunderstand each other, which is a major source of comedy. Also because I like tsunderes. I also like Hinagiku be
  23. 55% Gameplay, 35% Story, 10% Sex. I like difficult games, but the choices must be logical. I like stories, but if they drag it too much like some slice of life animes do, it bores me and I simply want to press skip. Sex is like the reward for my hardwork, too much and it will not be rewarding. Too little and...hmm...well it'd get a bit dry with only the story.
