If You Love Me, Then Say So!

  • Language: English

"I love you."

Under the tree in the garden behind the school, I confessed my love to 'Her'...

My up-to-then ordinary school life took a turn after a chance encounter with QP, a fairy that was born from an apple. I met Ayame, the air-headed rich girl, my relationship with my childhood friend Yuuki has changed, and my ex-girlfriend Mahiru showed up in my life again.

One budding relationship blooms after the next, and then...

...After the longest seconds of my life pass, 'She' blushes as she responds.

What will her answer be?

Is the translation realy as bad as i have heard ?

Is it even worth playing then?

the translation is not bad by any stretch of imagination, but arunaru did some questionable choices.

All honorifics all still there, except oniichan because reasons...oniichan got changed to "dude" (wtf? why?)

Characters speaking in broken english was changed to broken spanish instead of using a simpler solution like engrish or italic text.

Besides that the translation seems fine.

Way I see it, it isnt a game i would BUY but i would play it considering literally no i know still uses the word dude it makes absolutely no sense why the hell onii-chan was change to it i haven't played this yet but im probably gonna avoid that girls route since..... well I imagine at emotional moments and H-scenes it would just completely ruin the immersion, im surprised MG would even let that pass..... Well there is a lot worse translations out there its just unfortunate such a choice was made also on VNDB there is patch for the names so if you really want to you can try that

Minorish spoiler about the MC, but might be something you want to know BEFORE you download 24 parts.

Disclaimer: I haven't played very far into the game so what I'm about to describe might change before long, but I don't think I can stomach playing this one long enough to find out.

MC is constantly picked on by other characters, including one who constantly tells dirty jokes then some how manages to make it look like the MC is a total perv. On top of that, MC's classmates have insufficient IQ to realize that he's innocent after the umpteenth time when even a lobotomized monkey could figure out it's the other character who is to blame. It makes it feel like the world has it out for the MC to point that god almighty could come down from heaven, declare "This man is innocent you idiots!" and they still would blame the MC.

The author of this one clearly doesn't understand there is a difference between being a wuss, and having the deck stacked against you to the point it was never possible to win in the first place.

Apparently the thought process was "Well, he speaks a different language in a Japanese game, so most people playing it won't understand it!" Which is beyond dumb, since they teach English as a main course, so they should understand broken English. So, he then replaced it with Spanish because he thinks that it was intended for the audience to not know what he was saying... This TLer has a tendency for doing these things for some dumb reason.

That is incredibly dumb if true.. especially since there has been plenty examples of broken English done right in translations. Exhibit: Kud in Little Busters English Edition.

    • "The human heart is but a vessel for pain."

That's what someone once whispered―a voice laced with loneliness, whispering directly into the soul. It's an indescribable sadness, a love just beginning to bloom. It becomes an invisible pain that pierces the heart. And that's what makes up life: a cyclical series of highs and lows.

Tachibana Sai was born without the ability to feel pain in his heart. He spends his days eliminating any seeds of malice that sneak up on his sister, the one person he treasures, without drawing attention to himself.

Sick of the never-ending monotony he lives through, he chances upon a meeting with Benio Matsuri, a young girl whose aloof demeanor resembles that of a beautifully crafted doll.

For the first time in his life, he encounters a heart-piercing sensation―that of falling in love.

On the edge between day and night, in a twilight world where the dead and living mingle, stands an apartment building called Maison sans Nom, which is home to a group of boys and girls.

A ruthless boy who knows no pain in his heart.
A lonely girl without any friends.
A friendly girl who struggles to make connections.
A prickly, ambitious girl who is keen to be of help.
A boy who loves his own cute self above anything else.
A mess of a woman who tries to solve everything through brute force.
And a boy with a tender heart who knows no pain in his body.

This ill-assorted group of residents, hands stained with blood from battling the supernatural Maledicts, shall encounter the hearts they never knew and begin nurturing their souls.

The human heart is but a vessel for pain.

To protect this pain akin to love... To gently break the world apart, piece by piece... Even if it means abandoning humanity. That's why the heart is but a vessel for pain.

For life blazes brilliantly, while the heart goes around in an endless cycle.
    • In this game, you play as Fujita Hiroyuki, a high-school student who seems to have more interest in romance than in his studies. In his school there are several pretty girls, and his goal is to be nice to one of them, to make the right decisions when talking to her, and ultimately to win her heart.

    • In a future over one hundred years hence...

All the people in the world have awakened to unique abilities called 'Dunamis'. As these special powers become rooted in people's everyday lives, their value system changes, and those who lack powers are the ones who are treated as strange. With the passing of the ages, the environment has changed completely, while society has greatly regressed. The overall population of mankind has diminished as well, and most of the world is made up of wastelands and greenery dotted with the weathered ruins of the world before.

      The City of Raillore.

With brickwork buildings like those of the Middle Ages, developed over land graced with lush greenery and rivers. With the concept of nations gone from the world, Raillore exists as something of a self-sufficient commune. The Order of Security and Regulatory Knights - AKA the Regulatory Corps - serves as a government organization in charge of handling crime prevention and other tasks that require force of arms.

But things begin to change as odd incidents take place, one after another...

Those possessing abilities different from those of Dunamis begin to appear. The people fear this power and the phenomena it causes, and those capable of it are designated as ‘Errors’. The sudden appearance of these Errors is regarded as a disease, and the handling of Errors is placed under the jurisdiction of the Regulatory Corps. As people tremble in fear of the vicissitudes of the changing times, there are those who try to open a way to the future with their own strength...
