hi, ei-kun is new here, ei has been going through every single comment on this topic and he is currently in the process of downloading the 8th rar file... question: 6th rar seems to have repeats, ei just needs one to download right? ... aside from that, seeing everything else was answered so perfectly by the experts/fellow VN audiences here makes ei feel confident and relieved that he will be able to play his very first VN with no problem desuu~ minna-san yoroshiku onegai shimasu! By the way, there's one thing ei wants to know. How well are you guys able to understand the VN without translation? In other words, are you guys good with Japanese or just relying 100% on the English translation?

Yea, you can skip one of the 6's. Looks like it was an accidental repeat link. As for understanding, most people on here don't understand Japanese, so we rely 100% on the English translation. That or using a translation program to help fill in the missing parts (extremely bad way to go about it). So for partial translations, anyone that plays only plays the parts that are in English. We then wait for more and more to be released.

Try something found from here: How To Fix D3dx9_35.dll is Missing or Not Found Errors --It seems something happened to that file and you need to fix it.

If u like majikoi,there is always majikoi S(which is still under translating).Another popular school,comedy,romance VNs are little busters(i personally find this VN and majikoi are similar in many aspects),clannad and hoshizora no memoria

1. how can we play the fully translated Miyako story after the translation is finished and published? download then copy and paste into the folder again?

2. as he plays MajiKoi, the files still show in the disc drive... is it okay to... dismount/eject/get ride of it from the disc drive or is it needed for the VN to process?

for the first, copypasting the new patch should do i guess. The second one yeah, you can just eject it, you dont need it for the vn to run

Yes, that torrent should work fine and will give you Majikoi S. People are playing Majikoi S because it has a partial patch out. It still has a ways to go before it is completely finished, but the translator is pretty fast. The patch that is out right now translates the common route + Monshiro route + Iyo side route.

Majikoi - Miyako route 50% translated.

Majikoi S - Monshiro route released, Margit route: 65%

This should be the progress on both majokois. note that majikoi hasnt move from 50% myako's route for a while, but i think that S is progressing quite quickly for a one man translation

I don't know what the others think, but i should recomend you that you finish majikoi first and play S later, dont acumulate VN xD

Side-note: like mi avatar/sig huh? its from my girlfirend is the president Osananajimi wa Daitouryou ~My girlfriend is the President.~

And here's quick question from me. I just started playing Maijkoi but it doesn't let me save my progress. There was no problems with installation, patching, and translation. It doesn't show any errors, only when i try to save it's normally saving but after that data is completly empty (there's is no picture or information about save in that slot, only "New" next to it, and i can't load it). Also it can't save even configuration settings, looks like game just can't create save folder. Any ideas why?

make sure that save file exist in jap folder at my document if it's not then file may not save properly

or go to my document and delete that jap files then try reinstall game

Actually there's no save folder at all. Can you give me full name of that folder? I'll try to create it manually before reinstallation.
