Muv-Luv Alternative takes place after the events of the original Muv-Luv. Alternative focuses on the life of Shirogane Takeru three years after Muv-Luv; Takeru wakes up believing that everything that had happened was just a dream. However, he notices something wrong: he has been sent back in time to the beginning of the events in Muv-Luv: Unlimited. But instead of letting a disaster strike again, he decides to help stop it before it even begins. The solution: helping to complete Alternative IV.

this was the first VN of the muv luv series i played because the other one didnt work in my opinion it was a great game at first it took me a little while to get used to the characters eyes blinking and gave me the creeps but after u get used to it its kinda funny. the story was really good and i was able to grasp what was going on even without playing the other game i would give it a 8.5/10.

Does it happens only at this part?

Most likely your patch file is corrupted, try downloading it again and repatching, it shouldn't mess up with your save file

Not, it happens in all tsukuyomi and suzumiya translations I've read.

I'll Try Redownload patch.

No word can describe how good this VN... It was worth it wasting 1 month to 100% all the trilogies.
