Yeah, from what I heard the official patch is necessary to fix the errors like untranslated lines, cut off voices, that kind of thing, and is still compatible with the unofficial fix so in theory using both together should fix everything.

I think a delay is unlikely this close to release, I mean there was no real reason they had to announce it was going to come out that day if they weren't reasonably sure they could make it. Nobody (as far as I know) really even expected it to come out so early so it's not like they would have lost out on anything if they'd just kept quiet longer. Well, last minute technical issues are always a possibility but that would only be a few days delay most likely.

Yeah it's pretty extensive, includes the entire prologue of the game. Save should be compatible too so no reason not to play the demo really if you want to start a bit early.

Yeah, I bought it on preorder. Obviously I don't actually have the game yet for the reason you stated. Don't really want to upload it on day one either since like I said I actually do think MG deserve all the sales they can get, and if it doesn't get uploaded for a week or two it usually means a few people who were on the fence wind up buying it. But if it doesn't get uploaded for a few weeks after release I can do it. Well, most likely someone else will do it before then since it seems a pretty high profile game, but just in case they don't.

I know that the Japanese version has been up here for a while, but according to VNDB the Steam release (which is based on the Memorial Edition) has more content and a different translation, so I think it would be worth putting it up too.

Had this happen to me whenever I set it to fullscreen for the first time. Quick fix is to simply alt-tab out and then go back, might have to toggle fullscreen again but it resolves pretty quick.
