Done with Muv-Luv Unlimited. I have to say that I was very dissappointed at how the story withered after a great beginning: That being said, I admit that the idea of the story was excellent and the endings were beautiful. Characters and musics were pretty much the same as in Extra so I won't say anything more about them. Overall: Unlimited had the ingredients to be something better but ended up to the same level with Extra -> 6.5/10

I will. I've played Unlimited for few hours now and it looks very promising even though I'm definitely not a fan of sci-fi/action/mecha.

Finally got back to VNs after a long time of studying for high school final exams I just finished Muv Luv Extra, and it was neither great nor awful. There were many good jokes, and most of the characters were quite interesting (hated the class rep, loved Tama and Marimo). The story had its moments but still it was mostly pretty boring. Musics were mediocre but they got a lot better nearing the endings. One of those piano BGMs (don't know the name) was actually really awesome. Probably the best thing of the game was the "bad" ending with Marimo. Srsly, that was one of the greatest h-sce

Hmm, I think I'll go for Muv-Luv next. The playing order is Muv-Luv -> Muv-Luv Alternative, right? Or are there also other games?

Did you install the patches (others than the one to translate it to English) when you installed the game?

Starless also has some futa stuff in it. I watched the h-anime version of it few days ago and even though scat/urolagnia is a big no for me I'm definitely going to play it just for futa/femdom action t(^.^t)

Finally someone brought up Akai Ito I know people will start hating me soon for advertising the games made by Success, but.... Just like Aoishiro, Akai Ito has excellent musics and CGs. Its opening theme is pretty much at the same level as Aoishiro's, perhaps even a bit better. Characters are interesting (especially the protagonist is adorable), and there aren't that many "boring" food scenes in Akai Ito. In my opinion the main story of Akai Ito is actually better than that of Aoishiro, but bad endings are mostly inferior to those in Aoishiro (there are also some very nice ones, thou

"Girlfriends" by Morinaga Milk. Very nice shoujo-ai slice of life manga, probably one of the best mangas I've read so far. and I'll have to check this out as soon as I have enough time

YU-NO has pretty nice plot and characters but IMO it's not in the same league with FSN etc. Btw, don't do the same mistake I did: I played it without any musics, and the music file actually had some quite important hints in it... (Don't open if you haven't played the game)

So far there have been 1 series and 1 VN that have really made me cry: Clannad after story (episode 18 to be precise) and Ever17 true route (Tsugumi route was pretty close but not quite enough.) Other VNs that were pretty close: Edelweiss, Narcissu and Kira Kira (Kirari route)
