  1. This thread needs to be locked, burned, exorcised, bleached, burned again, covered in highly flamable waste and sent to the moon!

    FU AND YOUR TRAPS >_

    I agree :p

And meh, when I think of traps, I think of Natsume Yuujinchou.

There were quite a few characters where you just can't tell if it is a boy or a girl.

    Example:

    [BSS]_Zoku_Natsume_Yuujinchou_-_05_[1A386222].mkv_snapshot_03.53_[2012.05.11_21.35.38].jpg[moo-shi]_Natsume_Yuujinchou_-_07_[DVD.H264.AAC]_[E624D96C].mkv_snapshot_16.22_[2012.05.11_21.34.jpg

I thought until a certain episode of the third season that that fox boy is a fox girl..

  2. I'll say that "Mars of Destruction" is the worst Anime I've ever seen.

Anyone who states another Anime as the worst, simply hasn't seen this..

(Though it is just an OVA).

And yeah, I'm with you there, as Seikon no Qwaser is also the worst Anime series I've ever seen until now.

I just watched one and a half episodes, but I always got that urge to puke for some reason, and I seriously couldn't stand watching it -__-

    @killerinside

Weird, I watched He is my master some years ago, where I hadn't been affected by Japanese stuff at all, and I seriously liked it.

  3. Agreed, Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka & Hidan no Aria are among some of my favorite animes, Although I'm sad to keep thinking that Hidan no Aria won't be getting a Season 2 just because it didn't sell enough BD, They left out so much from the manga as well that they could probably buff out another season or two..

And there I thought that Hidan no Aria was based on a Light Novel Series.

And yeah, seems to be the case that none of the actual heroines catch my interest for now.. (Well, except for Azusa maybe)

Still, I shouldn't judge a book by its cover, so I'll see how I like it when the patch is out.

  4. There is one other game I had this happen to me, and there is a fix for it:

"Like Double Spoiler, Fairy Wars stores userdata in the current user's Application Data folder. This can cause problems when a user wants to run the same state from multiple logins, or multiple computers. To keep things in the Fairy Wars directory, there is a simple fix: Create a notepad file, rename it to a .bat extension, (let's call it touhou128.bat) and put the following:

    @echo off

    md "%CD%\user"

    set "APPDATA=%CD%\user"

    start th128

Maybe some other person with knowledge can kinda change it so it works with Hoshizora.

  5. There is no perfect game for me either.

I love Visual Novel's just as much as these short games like Touhou or Megaman,

which you can play over and over again, just to get better.

Those two are impossible to work together, so no perfect game for me.

  6. I saw the OP of this, and the girl I like the most is most likely not a heroine -__-

But well, I like Fantasy - stuff, and such, so I'll definitely give it a try sometime.

As for now it is not really something I'm seriously waiting for though.

  7. And when did you wake up?

I often can't sleep when I slept too long and go too early to bed (but well, that's obvious).

Something a friend suggested me, is to read something or do some math.

    Something that tires your brain.

Don't know if it actually makes you tired, but it seemed kinda plausible.

  8. Looking at what I've played so far, I can recommend.

Clannad: It is kinda long, but I had some serious trouble at getting onto some routes, and you have to play some routes in certain ways, I think, to unlock stuff.

Da Capo: You have to take a lot of choices, either in the form of answers or as in where to go.

I think you even have to take a test, now if that doesn't require thinking.. :p

Both have multiple endings (I'd say that is rather normal for eroge) and in case you liked Da Capo, there is also a second part for it.

Though they made it obvious in what choices to take in the second part, so it is not really hard to get the ending you want.

  9. No idea if our tastes are similar, but well..

I watched Shakugan no Shana in one go, and god, did I have a headache afterwards..

I couldn't bring myself to last even one episode of Spice and Wolf, so yeah..

I always kinda liked the characters of Rosario + Vampire, and it also actually has some plot progression in my opinion.

People keep saying the Manga is better, but who cares, if you haven't read it.

  10. And there's so much in the way they speak that doesn't translate to other languages. Things like which pronouns they use, how they refer to each other, and how formally they speak make a big difference.

Not to mention the fact how much emotion they put in their speaking, even at mediocre series.

I often get the feeling when watching "professional" german dubs by happenstance, that they asked the poorest and most boring voiced people on the street,

if they'd have some hour or so, to quickly dub an anime series -__-

  11. I just recently got some episodes, since I thought I should give it a try 'cause I watched the first season.

Only watched the OP until now, and first thing I noticed was, more breasts..

So I don't know if I'll ever seriously start this one.-

  12. Blasphemy! All of my beautiful comments...you want to remove them? Well, fuck you too.

I don't know about you thinking all your posts are spam, but what I mean is e.g. Thread asks: "What do you like most?", Post says: "Hmm, I don't know.".

  13. Random topic transition: how hard is it to learn english if it isn't your first language? I'm a native english speaker, so I never had to learn it (obviously). The only confusing things I can think of are contractions (like you're, don't, I'm, etc) and words like knife or knight that start with a k but sound like they start with an n.

To be honest, the things you mentioned aren't a problem for me.

What I think is hard, is just the number of words which stand for practically the same things.

Thanks to that I have to look up like 50 to 100 words in each new Visual Novel I read -__-

And yeah, also the pronounciation of words.

There is a 80% chance that I pronounce it wrong when first reading it.

Like how I just recently learned that you pronounce "Tongue", like tung and not tonsh, or that "doubt" is pronounced daut and not dubbed.

Well, it seems to be a rather hard language to other people though.

I'm in a class that specialises in foreign languages, and we have business english and such, and there are just three people (including me) that can actually speak and understand english.

Like how we made a rollplay one day, with one person being a receptionist, and one a visitor in a hotel.

The receptionist should ask for the visitor's hometown.

    What do they say?

    "What is the visitors hometown?".

Yeah right. That is what you say while actually talking to the visitor -__-
