The bridge fixing quest gives you the bowling ball weapon, which is game breakingly overpowered in a first playthrough.

Hard to say. I believe it's all about the story but on the other hand it's also important that the art and bgm fits the whole thing.

I would say the most important thing is the overall experience. Even if a visual novel doesn't have an awesome story it still

can be enjoyable because of having a nice soundtrack and cg's.

You obviously didn't search at the right places. Sure, hongfire and megaupload are gone and with them a lot of visual novels.

But there are still a lot of sites where you can find working download links. And I personally never skipped school just for playing

No, I prefer thinking that I'm smart enough to get the end I want, using a walkthrough won't give me a sense of an accomplishment. Also, I'm not a completist either, I cannot be bothered to read (or "read"=skip) each and every route and bad end to find "that last CG". There are 100% save files and resource extractors for this.

Seriously, never kill king putteto because you can use him for leveling up. You will get for each attack something around 30xp.

If you're also using marwen's ring or necklace...the fastes leveling up I've ever seen. Well make sure to remember my words when

you're playing the game for the second time.
