I'm currently playing deardrops and up to now, after 12 hours of playing, it's mosty boring. And I blame those guys who told me that this

visual novel is not the same like kira kira coz it is. The only difference, deardrops focus more on the music than the characters.

The main problem I have is that music is the solution for everything. Your house was destroyed? No problem man, just play some music.

Oh you killed somebody? Just play some music. Seriously...what the fuck? And where the hell is the violin? I fuckin love rock with a heavy

violin backup but up to now, nothing, dammit. Well, we'll see. I picked up deardops just for having some variety anyway. My last visual novels

were always some fantasy or surreal stuff so I thought playing some slice of life is a good idea and it acutally is refreshing.

I hate most lolis. Why? They're mainly childish and energetic, things which annoy me.

Of course there are some which I can stand pretty good or even like; a rare thing though.

I personally wouldn't say that loli has nothing to do with child porn but seriously, loli ≠ childporn.

The game is all about the gameplay not about characters or story.

When I can't pick the interesting looking side girl who is the main characters friend or the friend of one of the route girls.

Just take a look at my vndb account. Everything over 7/10 is recommendable.

It's sometimes a little bit annoying but not really a big pain in the ass. I mean sure, they will show some cg's but it's not that you would

understand anything by just seeing them. I personally forgot nearly all of them after the opening anyway. Bad memory ftw! \o/

I really hate how most visual novels handle the way to the first sex scene.

Confessing --> 2min --> Kiss --> 2min --> Sex

What the fuck? Sorry but that's for me just way too fast.

I also hate when there are too much h's because they tend to destroy the flow of the story.

Unfortunately this continous escalation in finding something better ultimately leads you to find most VN's/eroge medicore and unfulfiling (still waiting for something to beat MLA).

Well in this case, just stop searching for something better than MLA. I personally don't have the problem to find other visual novels

unfulfilling because of finishing some awesome ones. I mean even if a visual novel can't beat my favourite one, called senjou no maou,

it can still be great and mindfucking, I don't see any problem with this. Meh, whatever...

For me the thing that triggers all the great memories most is probably the music.

In my case it's the scene itself. But I know what you mean coz after finishing a visual novel you can enjoy most of the bgm tracks

more than without playing the game. You may say that the track sounds awesome but you can't feel the same as someone who

also knows the fitting scene. Dunno how to explain this shit but you guys probably know that I mean.

I totally know what you're talking about. It's in my case a weird feeling in the stomach every time I remember a specific scene.

I also want to play the visual novel again. Well this feeling will go away after 2-3 days, at least from my experiences.

For now I'm fine and like I said too lazy to edit all the entries. Hell, I don't even remember all the visual novels anymore.
