I wouldn't know, I can't read non-translated novels (I know what you meant, just joking). If I can understand the basics of the story it's enough for me. I am yet to encounter what was suggested by Ixrec. Of course we do. Huge props to the guys like Hecrapan and alike, I will always look forward to a proper translation much more than a MT one. It gives those of us who aren't obsessing over quality and perfection a chance to read what might not be picked up otherwise. Even a poor, machine translated and slightly edited patch (FH) beats the nightmare of having to use AGTH or ITH anyday. There are so many visual novels out there, and sadly so very few people who bother to roll up their sleeves and translate them properly.

So far my favorites are White Album 2 -closing chapter- OP and Lately I have been spending a lot of time going through youtube listening to music from various novels but haven't been able to find any songs that stuck like these 2.

Just started Koiiro Soramoyou it's pretty fun even with abominable Atlas/Ta translation. Wish someone picks it up, seems like a hilarious game.

Currently playing DCII PC using AGTH and both TA and Atlas to make some sense of it. It's hard

Yeah aesthetics are my main issue with it. But if you say the experience is rewarding then I will give it a go nonetheless. Thanks for the tip regarding the patch. I see. Well I am hoping that since I generally prefer simplistic romance/comedies with archetypal characters it won't be that much of a problem to grasp what is happening. Almost identical preferences as mine, that's pretty cool Is Period really worth trying out? Just curious, have you ever thought about using machine translators? I am well aware the end result may be far from perfect but I am growing really impatient hoping/waiting for certain novels to be translated, like DCIIPC (Akane ) or White Album 2. So I will definitely give it a shot in a few weeks when my exams end even though I have no clue how it's done yet.
