Just finished up Danganronpa. Pretty fun little VN and I honestly did not expect that ending, pretty crazy. Otherwise, the game was just way to easy which kinda disappointed me, I mean it literally just gives you the answers. I'll probably play through again in the future on Mean difficulty.

I'm finally getting around to finishing up Grisaia and man...anyone else find Sakaki's route really disappointing and...stupid? Like there were just so many ridiculous moments it was hard to take seriously...but her flashback story was good and sad at least. Also I really wish Yuuji was just a normal dude, his whole military cool dense tough guy personality gets annoying very fast making me wonder how any of the girls fell in love with him. The H scenes were just laughable because of Yuuji just turning into douchebag sex master all of a sudden. Also, Michiru's last H Scene...just why....?

I'm putting Grisaia on hold for now and finishing up Umineko. Just finished the first 4 arcs. Pretty awesome, but the only problem I had with it is that I felt like it over-explained things and dragged on a lot, in my opinion. I know it's weird to complain about talking in a VN, but I just felt like there was a lot that wasn't needed or could've been said in way less words. Other than that, I liked it. I was worried about the big cast and maybe characters wouldn't be fleshed out enough, but no, pretty memorable and likeable cast. Also the magic elements of it took me awhile to get used to,

I personally love long common routes, lots of development and some humor before shit gets real. I can see why some would hate it, but I just really like learning about the characters.

How can anyone find Makina annoying? She's to cute to hate....

The VN community seems to have a pretty weird definition of slut...... Btw, anyone else get a Monogatari vibe from Grisaia? The way they're drawn reminds me a lot of the Monogatari animes.

Just started Grisaia and almost done with a route in IMHHW. Almost done with Kotori route on IMHHW, pretty fun read. Just started Grisaia and I'm loving it so far. Michiru and Makina are probably my favorite girls, especially Makina and her engrish lol. Also, what's with the hate for Amane? Is it her character or something about her route or what? She seems like an okay character to me, though I just started so....

Finally got around to finishing Clannad. I watched the anime first awhile ago so I wasn't in a rush to read this and that's why I took so long...but it was still amazing. Of course the VN was better overall but I thought the anime was better at telling the story.....if that makes any sense. It's just that the animation and really seeing the characters just helps a lot, IMO. Anyways..... I freaking love it! The story, the characters, the music, just everything about it. Just finished episode 1 of Umineko. It starts off kinda slow, but when things get serious it sucks you in and you just want to keep reading. Anyways, my quick thoughts on ep. 1: Alright, now it's time for the rest.

Umineko is starting to get interesting...plus voices really help. Man I wish Higurashi had voices... Also, does Eva always taaAaalk li~~ke thii~~~ss? It's sooo fu~~ckiiing aNnnOyyii~~ng.

So many nukige games announced.....goddamn. Little Busters EX, Dracu-riot and Majikoi need to hurry up and finish ;_; Cartagra looks interesting, Osadai fandisc hell yes, getting that for sure! And I still need to get around to playing the first Kara no Shoujo.

Coalgirls for BDs (even though they always have gigantic file sizes) and FFF, rori, Doki and gg with some commie every now and then for TV stuff usually.

Just finished Dra†KoI. Overall it was pretty good, I guess. Just a short, simple, sweet love story that keeps you interested all the way through. Kinda wish it was longer so they could've fleshed it out a bit more.... The H Scenes were pretty sweet. Really nice art, no weird cringe-worthy metaphors or similes, and they weren't overly long like so many H Scenes out there. If you just want a quick VN to read with a decent story and some nice art, you should check it out.

Man it's been awhile, been busy for a bit...feels good to be playing VNs again! Anyways...I have so many VNs I'm reading right now, it's so hard to focus on just one >_ I'm mainly focusing on Rewrite, Kamidori and Umineko right now with a lot more VNs on the side. I'm not that far into Umineko yet, just barely started but I'm enjoying it...don't know if it's better than Higurashi yet....the soundtrack is definitely better for sure.

No H = Way less sales... *sigh* Sad but true......you horny bastards.

So Umineko is actually better? Hmmm....we'll see about that...I'm definitely looking forward to it! Also, is there a download for the soundtrack of Higurashi out there? That little song that plays in the tips menu of the Kai arcs and all of it's variants......I need it! So good.....

Speaking of Umineko, how is it compared to Higurashi? I was gonna read it right after I finished Higurashi but It's been awhile since I've read a nice romance VN. I've been wanting to read Clannad so I'm probably reading that next. I'm ready to cry, Key. T_T

Finally all done with Higurashi! Amazing VN. Had a really interesting story, likeable characters and really nice horror elements, it kept me interested and never really got boring. Definitely in my top VNs for sure. Anyone who hasn't read it yet, you really should even if you hate horror stop being a baby and read this VN. My favorite characters are probably Satoko and Rena. Satoko is just so...cute and innocent so seeing all the stuff she goes through and the things that happen to her is just.... T_T. And Rena is just.....Rena....lol Anyways, here's my quick thoughts on Arcs 5-8

Just finished Arcs 1-4 of Higurashi. Man.....what an experience......lots of creepiness, some manly tears were shed......just wow..... Kinda wish I didn't watch some of the anime a long time ago. The first 2.5 arcs were kinda ruined for me because of that....but anyways, I loved it, gonna read the rest now.

Suggestions please. And since I've already made a topic, I've got some questions for anyone who's played Chaos;Head and Higurashi. Alright, so in Chaos;Head how do the choices work? Is it the green and red things that show his hallucinations? Or are there actual choices eventually? Because the hallucinations don't look like they change anything about the story...of course this is my first playthrough so I could be wrong. And Higurashi, Ch. 1-5 have patches for the graphics, are those the only ones that have patches, or can you use the same patch files for the rest?

I'm getting this message when I try to run the setup: What does it say? I installed this game before no problems, so I don't know why it's not working now.

Almost finished Hoshizora no Memoria but.... Due to some computer problems, I'm in the process of downloading all the VNs I had again so I'm not gonna be able to play anymore for awhile... ;_; Man, this is gonna take ages. I'm gonna backup everything and then make a backup of that backup now.

Just finished Kotori's route in Rewrite. I knew there were supernatural and fantasy elements and all that, but goddamn I really did not expect all of that. Shit got real, real fast. Great VN, I love it. Gonna take a break from Rewrite for now though and start Hoshizora no Memoria up again and finish that, might check out Rose Gun Days also.

It's not that bad >_> But they do kinda overuse the joke, it got old pretty quick.
