  1. It say that it can't create the necessary save data and that you should reinstall it. I'm guessing it just can't create those config files required to run the game for the first time. Did you installed it in some funky folder or something?

Can you try to install it again and run without the eng patch?

Edit: Try going to the game folder and create a folder called SaveData, then try to run the game again.

Edit2: Do you have some funky Windows username with odd letters and shit? If you do then that's your problem. Assuming that the game is installed here - puu.sh/5iaTE

  2. The first option is - Run the game from the DVD disc.

The second is - Install to the Hard Disk.

It's odd that nothing happens when you click on the 2nd option. Try to copy the game to a something like \desktop\something\... or shorten the folder names. Maybe that file path is too huge. Sometimes games can't cope with that and crash (like Aoishiro).

  3. The installer if bitching because it wants the disc in the drive, but you can't do that since there is no actual ISO to mount. What you need to do is - on that launcher screen (last picture), click on that 2nd option (HDDヘインストール) and it should install it. Then just run the game.

I should also mention that the game has some stupid "save import system" in case you're thinking of getting a 100% save...for whatever reason : D.

It's basically the same shit as Raidy, just with more monster girls and you're a guy. You go into some lame maze dungeon with a few potions and you're supposed to progress through the floors/levels by defeating "boss monster girls". I really hate that style of dungeon crawlers so the game didn't really work for me. Only thing I remember from the 1st game was the nice UI, go figure.

  5. In MG's case, I think it's pretty simple. If they could get better licenses, they would translate those instead of the horrid nukige. Without writing a wall of text about it, it's all about the licensing cost vs actual sales. If you take huge games from companies like Key, the music licenses alone would cost like hell, among other things (Kara no Shoujo voice license cost). On the other hand, a lot of VN companies are really xenophobic when it comes to licensing VNs in the west so they don't even want to talk to MG about it.

JAST - they most take already translated scripts and buy them from fan translators so they don't have many crap VNs.

Fan TL - Some translators TL some shitty nukige for practice or some really lame moege they like. The said VNs are mostly very easy so you don't need to know epic amounts of Japanese to TL them. A few rare translators tackle the more difficult and longer ones just for the hell of it. Personally, I think it's a damn miracle that some of these huge VNs got fan TL'd because it takes a fuckton of wok. Not to mention that they do it for free. We all complain about shitty VNs and slooooow TLs, etc., but there's nothing much most of us can do about it.

  6. I don't think this plugin is needed in the new builds. I was testing game for a bit and the sound was pretty much perfect with default settings (only turned on Multithreaded).

Only thing you may need to turn on is Multithreaded, that's about it. Turn on your FPS and Speed display and check if it lags badly during the 3d segments. If you have a really bad PC then you can't do much about it. I haven't noticed any performance change during the 3rd stuff so I can't help you with settings.

Generally speaking, if your FPS drops in any emulator the sound will start fucking up. Maybe some plugin would help if you're having an issue all the time with perfect fps and speed, but not in this case.
