this is an interesting game. haven't played it all the way through but im enjoying it so far. at first I encountered a problem with getting it to work but I managed to get it fixed. this is in case anyone else that downloads this game encounters the same problem. im playing this on my windows 8 laptop (yeah I know...) originally this game requires the 2nd cd (CUE file) to be mounted for it to play. well it started out normal, the opening played fine but when it got to the menu I became stuck. everything worked fine until I clicked on something (new game, setting, etc etc) and it would instantly freeze and a window would pop up telling me the game had stopped working. it did this everytime. I managed to fix this issue by using a NO-CD crack I found here. GameCopyWorld - Heart De Roommate - NoCD No-CD No-DVD Trainers & Game Fixes De Roommate v1.0 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed EXE download that file and replace the original EXE with it in the directory Computer/(C:)/Program Files/ANGELSMILE/HEARTUS (note, the part of the directory for my program files and such is Gateway (C:), it may be different for you) replace it by copy paste or drag and drop, a window will pop up informing you that there is already a file with this same name and present you with a number of options. click Replace, the game will now run without the need for mounting the cd2 file and this issue should be fixed. (note I only suggest people suffering this same error to do this, I have no idea if it would/will fix other issues.

have you tried redownloading it? I just downloaded the game and it installed without any problems and it is currently playing with no problems. I would suggest you delete the old files you downloaded and redownload them. its not unheard of for a file or 2 to become corrupt during a download.

this game presents beautiful artwork in a nature setting. I enjoyed the story so I fully suggest that people play this game

interesting game but sadly it just isn't for me. the game works perfectly on my windows 8 (yeah I know....) and the English patch is flawless.
