I know this is totally random (not off topic, just random) but what do you guys think are the chances anything by Atelier Kaguya will ever get translated? I just discovered their massive library of releases covering almost every single fetish/genre, and given the length and depth of the games in comparison to other nukiges, they looks super high quality. A lot of them are even animated, which is not as common as would be expected. With such high quality nukige, it surprised me that nothing of theirs has been translated. Any ideas?

When will the release for Comyu be? The final patch I mean...

Is it just me, or is installation for visual novels unrealistically difficult compared to other software/games? End up spending more time trying to install the damn games than playing them. Oyako Lesson and Pick Me Honey are two of the WORST to have to install, damn near impossible. In all honesty though, it's usually those MG nukiges that are the hardest...

I like this guy. Also, question about Meikyuu: I know it says dead for at least 6 months, and I know it's because the TL got hired for another VN that he was more inclined to do, but when does that 6 month period end? Any news on when it will get started back up?

You would have to give my google account access to the drive, but please don't do that. It's not a good idea to have other people with access to your stuff, just for security measures. It's better to just give us the % or status update however you guys do it.

So then what's with the red updates here this week? Is it currently being worked on? All I am going off of is the updates from this sit, like how often and how far the % goes up XD

Yes but all of the ones I've read have been in English... thus far. Last night I actually did start a short nukige without translating it (Pick Me Honey), since I've already played each route and I know the game fairly well. It was actually one of my first visual novels. I think next I want to try the Ikusa series and Sexfriend, I saw the OVAs and figured I'd give them a shot

Oh you're definitely right, but I wouldn't trust my humble skills to be able to enjoy a VN. I might consider re-reading something after reading the original though, that is a good idea.

My knowledge is decent, but I wouldn't feel comfortable translating an entire VN, even for myself. I took several years of it back in High School, but the only other place I can practice/speak it is with my dorm mate (he's Japanese native), who usually just sticks to English anyway so he doesn't have to switch back and forth so much. It's not that I couldn't, it's just that I don't want to have to worry about that while trying to enjoy myself.

Whatever. I never got my previous question answered, does anyone know about other blogs/social media sites taht Kurukuru Fanatic is being posted on? I checked the link to the guy's blog and twitter on the VNDB site, but he seems to not update it. Anyone know a current %?

No kidding. I actually had a stalker in high school too, but he was a menace that more or less just wanted to fight me. I punched him in the face and told him to fuck off and that seemed to solve the problem.

I just finished Kamidori recently. Easily one of my top 3 RPG VNs I've ever played. Probably top 10 overall, out of the over 200 I've played. Loved the different characters and music, but what really made it for me was the replay value. There is new content 3 runthroughs into the game, which is fucking impressive. If you don't log 200 hours on it minimum, you've done Kamidori wrong.

I live up above a lab where I work on a funded project team, which I also lead. There are 4 floors above ground and the lab is under, made out of the basement. I have to live here as a part of my contract to get funding.
