I don't mind partial translations IF they already give me a sizable, worthwhile amount of play-time: i.e. a common route of decent length and/or a few of my preferred heroine types' routes.

Well, from what I surmised all of Dracu-Riot, Fortune Arterial, Hinomaru, and Majikoi have been translated enough to make a partial play worthwhile in my eyes (at least a common route of decent length). I read Fortune Arterial's common route branches relatively late. Too bad the route of the heroine I might quite possibly like the most, according to her role and personality (Erika) shall be translated last. Oh well, at least Kanade is already available, she might just be my second best. As I see it, the translations of Dracu-Riot and Hinomaru may easily be even slower than FA.

I just left Rin route unfinished. I found very little appealing in the character, same as the emotionally dead girl of Heart de Roommate (whose route I very barely finished, IIRC it was necessary to unlock the true ending). I finished all the other routes and actually was very fond of Lilly and Emi, Shizune to a slighly lesser degree. Hanako kinda tiresome, but (barely) acceptable. Good game, I simply can't stand routes where you are expected to befriend and worse romance a wall or the bloody Sybil.

I have already played these eroges: A profile (good), Amorous Professor Cherry (so-so), Canvas 2 (loved it), Conquering the Queen (meh), Cosplay Fetish Academy (so-so), Crescendo (Ok), Da Capo 1 and 2 (Ok), Deardrops (loved it), Edelweiss (so-so), Family Project (good), Figures of Happiness (hated it), Flyable Heart (good), Gibo (so-so), Harem Party (good), Heart de Roomate (hated it), Hinata Bokko (Ok), Hoshizora No Memoria (Ok), I'm gonna nurse/serve you 1-2-4 (meh), Idols Galore (Ok), Jewel Knights Crusaders (meh), Kanon (unfinished, hated it), Katawa Shoujo (good except for one route I

The Visual Novels/Eroge games you like and not like

Well, whatever works for you. I sure don't mind a healthy amount of senseless action-adventure violence and interspecies romance/hot sex with cute monster girls, but a whole world of gore, cannibalism, and mating with eldritch abominations that aim to destroy the world are a couple steps too far in my book, plus I find the whole horror genre rather boring. Sadness for sadness' sake, as apparently typical of many utsuges, also pushes my wrong buttons. I agree nukiges are great to take a break from story-driven VNs (and vice-versa), although I prefer more comedy than drama in plot. Apart fro -
Well, I can't remember installation details, since I played this game some months ago (I was considering to remove it from laptop to external disk storage, to free up some space for new games). But I do remember that apart from the need for iso, the game played fine. Is it possible something in the installation caused the problem ? Well, I did get the patch (from this site, in all likelihood) and it works fine. But no crack I found here or elsewhere works for me.

Which group of characters do you hate most in Eroge?
Wanderer replied to Masao's topic in Eroge General Talk
I cannot stand silent and really emotionally stunted girls and terminally shy ones, because I find the experience of talking to (much less romancing) a wall so off-putting and frustrating, unless the character sheds those traits fairly quickly. I fancy tsunderes and childhood friends/imoutos (unless they are really too clingy and jealous) and I find nothing objectionable with sport girls and arrogant girls (except when the protagonist is too much of a doormat). -
I generally prefer to use walkthroughs, since it allows me to relax and enjoy every nuance of the story without fretting about wrong choices.

The Visual Novels/Eroge games you like and not like

Among story-driven VN, I prefer comedy and slice of life eroges, such as Snow Sakura, A Profile, and Flyable Heart, with or without fantasy/sci-fi/other twists, such as My Girlfriend is the President and Kira Kira. I'm strongly turned off by games with excessive utsuge (especially unavoidable downer/bittersweet endings to routes, such as Kanon) and horror content (I wouldn't play Saya No Uta at gunpoint). I like good dating sims, too. Among nukiges, I like ones where story premise or characters are decent or there is a good comedy element, or the main character has to do at least a little -
Neither one works on my system. Even when running those patches, the game requires the .iso to be mounted all the same. Not a tragedy, sure, but an annoyance, since the game folder is already pretty big as eroges go, and the need for the image file doubles the disk space requirement. I've already completed this one but as per standard procedure, I aim to keep a 100% completion working copy of the game for possible future replay. Oh well. Very nice school comedy/slice of life eroge by the way, I hope more like this one get translated in the near future since I've kinda run through the ones

Does anybody has a working link to a copy of the prologue patch ? The main one apparently went down in flames when The Man seized Megaupload.
-
Huh? I redownloaded the package to make sure, and it includes no noDVD patch, just the image file.
-
Nope, unfortunately it does not work on my Vista laptop. Neither it nor another version I googled work for me. Does anybody has a link to a nodvd patch for this game that is confirmed to work ? Thank you.

Actually, pretty much all the Black Lilith games seem to be built around this kind of premise, but only the 3 Taimanin Asagi ones, Captive Market, and Miss Leet have been translated.
