So guys I have here a visual novel called Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai. They are in separate files having a part1 and a part2 rar file. I extracted the files and a .iso and a .mds file appears. So I clicked the .iso file and a virtual disc containing the game appeared in my Windows Explorer. I clicked that and these files appear. I don't know what to do with these files and how can I play this game. I am currently running Windows 8. What will you do with these and how do you install the game with these files? I don't know a lot about computer software and programs so if anyone here knows how to instal

Hello guys, new here on the forum. I downloaded Utawarerumono from here and got stuck when I try to install the game. I don't know anything about japanese and translator is not helping me xD Here is what happens when I launch the setup.exe. When I press "OK", it shows this "error", I think: After that I keep pressing "OK" but it never leaves this screen. This is what the folder looks after I extracted: What do I do with that disc1Data.LAC ? Also, what does that "piece" folder means? Does it have something to do with the installation? Installation seemed to go okay, only thing I changed was the installation directory (switched it over to my secondary drive instead of OS drive), and yet whenever I try to save it just doesn't let me. No matter how many times I click on an empty box in the save menu, nothing happens. Any ideas as to what the issue could be? -
I'm finally downloaded and installed all of Root Double: Before Crime, After Days, but the game won't start and says I need XINPUT1_3 to play it. How do I fix this?

I downloaded a torrent of the game and mounted the disk, and after I start the installation it remains stuck with a little bit of the bar being green. Is it supposed to have a long installation time?

I made the foolish attempt to try and install this game without any aid and screwed up the English Patch part of it. But that is not my issue. My true issue goes like this: after screwing up the English patch, I decided to try uninstalling all of it, and reinstalling all of it. I was able to uninstall the patches, but when it came to the actual game, it gave me an error basically saying that "it's impossible to uninstall this game, as it is not installed on the harddrive." It turns out that there seems to be a ghost file lingering about on my harddrive and I cannot figure out where it is, or h
