Duel Savior

  • Language: English

There is a prophecy that every 1000 years, when the destruction draws near, the Messiah will come from a different world to the root world of Avatar and save them all.

Mia Touma, while returning home from school, finds an old but highly decorated book. When she shows it to her brother, Taiga, the book teleports them to another world - Avatar.

When they awaken, they find themselves in a world reminiscent of Medieval Europe. Before they understand what's happening, an energetic woman comes before them and tells them they have become Savior Candidates.

They must use the training they learn at the school to defeat the Lords of Ruin and Ruin itself to save Avatar and every other world along with their friends. However, Taiga finds he has become the Red Apostle, which complicates matters greatly. What is going on with the fight with Ruin? Will he actually be able to become the Messiah and save Avatar?

Lily's route by far the best , second best would be Nanashi's route.

Thanks for answer. I currently have modified version of windows and because of it I can't change locale to any of eastern asian. Besides japanese locale are troublesome for certain languages including mine.

It's Crea's route.

When you start the game (either by starting a new game from main menu or starting a NG+ from a character clear save), did it ask you to choose between Destiny and Justice? Example1 Example2

I'm only done with one route so far (Kaede's) and I must say the VN is really good. It's long enough, the comedy, the action and the sad parts are spot on. I just don't like the sprites. Their faces just don't look right (although they're fine in most of the CGs).

Kaede route spoilers ahead:

She's probably my favourite heroine (I may change my mind later on about this). Her VA is perfect for the role. I'm using the PS2 voices, meaning Itou Shizuka. Her route was awesome. The only flaw (for me) in her route was the ending dialogue. If only they'd left out all the talk about kids and stuff. That really came out of nowhere. It would've been fine if they'd just talked about marriage or something. And also there was that huge time gap after the last battle. It would've been better if they had actually shown a little in-between stuff. Her "de gozaru"s are so damn cute, though. Especially the time when she was dozing off and going "de gozaru... de gozaru".

I completely agree. I played through a few routes, and I liked Lily's story, but Kaede's route is definitely my favorite. I didn't really mind the time gap, didn't seem that anything really happened.

The game is amazing. One the few translated visual novels that requires more than just reading and clicking choices, which I like. The plot was decent, and the heroines were good. The battle system is pretty entertaining too.

Whew, I've finished all the routes. The actual routes weren't as long as I initially thought they were. The common route takes up a huge chunk of the overall content. Kaede is still my favourite, followed by Lily and then.. and then.. hmm. I don't know whether I like Mia or not. Mia route spoilers:

I did like her before her route, but during her route she was acting real bitchy. Especially to Lily. And Taiga was acting awful towards Lily as well. Also, the ending of her route was really unsatisfactory. So I think, all in all, it is her route that I dislike.

Liliy route spoilers:

It had a strong story and the length was satisfactory. If only the routes were to be compared, then this would have been my favourite route it not for some things. The gap after the last battle(but it seems all the routes had such gaps. I hate long time gaps) and that whole 1000 year later epilogue. What's the point of showing us what happened nearly a millennium after everyone in the game died? That gave her route a kind of "dead-end".

Harem route spoilers:

The route itself was awesome. Lot of new info was given and it had plenty of content. It's just that epilogue overrun with babies that bothered me -.-

I wonder if the voice actresses of the Principal(PS2 version) and Robin(One Piece) are the same?

i got a couple of questions, i alrdy played throught the game once but, first is there any differance between justice and destince content besides text? second i found a walkthrought for the game however there is no crea rout for it i was wondering if she had a route considering there was a crash fix for it?

thats it for the questions. after playing the game i would give it a 9/10 overall 10/10 if it was uncencored the plot was well put to gether and character designs were good too,the battle system was thuroughly enjoyable and there is a harem route. nothing else shouold need to be said there xD

Justice is the PC version and it contains H-scenes. Destiny is the PS2 version. It doesn't have H-scenes or any other adult content(CGs etc. are edited). Some of the H-scenes in Destiny are replaced with different events.

The walkthrough you are using is probably only for Duel Savior Justice. The Crea route is for Destiny only. It's like the Harem route in Justice.

Here's how you get it:

Crea events for her route (Destiny Only):

Chapter 4, 2nd Free Action (Night) - Gate

Chapter 5, 1st Free Action - Gate (Choose not to bug Berio)

Chapter 5, 2nd Free Action - Gate

Chapter 6, 1st Free Action - Gate

Chapter 7, 2nd Free Action - Gate
