You'll be able to download it from here when they're released. For Majikoi S, you can download the patches here, which is the translation website. Once they're released, they'll be updated and posted here. The Majikoi website is down right now, but there is an IRC channel up.

The trial version was just part of the common route for Majikoi S. The newest patch that is out right now has the common route + a full route + a side route complete. You can find that patch on this page.

Yeah, pretty much the same way to apply patches. You just drag them over to the installation folder.

I heard the translation for this is going pretty slow, so how slow is pretty slow? should her route be done by the end of next month?

It's going pretty slow. Here is the progress. Translation started around February and it's about 50% done. The main translator said progress would slow down since he had some real life stuff to deal with. I doubt it's going to finish by the end of the year at this rate.

the save folder is located in your documents under みなとそふと

I tried creating that folder manually, I tried deleting all files (there was みなとそふと only in Temp folder, deleted that too) and reinstalling (a few times, actually), I tried to download 100% save from web and putting that in correct folder in Documents. Neither works for me. Still can't save. I don't know what to do anymore. Maybe it's a late question but you can save progress from beginning? There isn't "no saves in Prologue" rule or anything like that?

don't try to create folder manually, game might not recognize your save file if you do that

just put the save file at that folder when you save directly from game

have you try this:

run program as administrator?

try install at at different pc?

if you try to reinstall i suggest using program like Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems to completely delete any leftover files, restart your pc and try reinstalling

so weird....

you sure you dont have the saves in C:\Users\Asus\Documents\みなとそふと\マジこい!\Save ???

Just tried installing on another computer and... It works. It created save folder in Documents and I can save without any problems. But for some reason it doesn't want to do that on my PC. Looks like Majikoi has some kind of problem with accessing my Documents folder. My other games are normally saving to their folders in Documents.

And yes, I agree, it's definitely weird.

do you guys suggest ei play the afterstory right after finishing the main route? and it seems like parts of a CG is missing even though one of the main route is completed, what happened? For example, 6/9 on one of the CG after completing one main route, does it mean ei needs to play it all over again because he made a wrong choice along the route?

Yukie's route is better than Miyako's route, somewhat. Though, ei likes Miyako's ending better desuu~ >w

the afterstory's are mostly just for cg that's probably why you miss some cg

about the number of hearts after completing a main route, isn't it supposed to decrease or just stayed the same? In other words, tutorial says the event will be triggered if the number of hearts falls to a small number, but what about after completing the event? ei finished a main route but the number of hearts under that heroine goes back to 5, does that mean ei will have to play through everything again? sorry, it's kinda confusing to describe ei's problem here... :/

nope... you just have to AIM for the one you like for every playthrough to make things simple...

just ignore the others and just go for your target heroine...

Well, certain number of hearts will depend how close the characters are to you. For example; Miyako usually has 2 hearts since she's obsess with you and Chris usually has a ton of hearts since she's a little tsundere. You don't have to restart, just go back to start (if I remember correctly) -> skip prologue, and a character selection screen would appear.

ahhh thanks for all the great replies so far desuu~ =w=

but ei has another big worry desuu after remember seeing something in that youtube video posting here.

At the end of the video, the saved files were erased! so ei's question is...

Does that really happen when ei puts in the new translation pack in the future?

In other words, will every progress be gone after replacing in the new translated files?

On a side note, how is the progress of both translation going? OwO

haven't play untranslated majikoi before so i can't give you exact answer, but if you're afraid of losing your save game files then just make a back up of it

it should be on majikoi folder with japs name like this みなとそふと

translation progress:

majikoi

Translates: Prologue, Chris route, Momoyo (+afterstory), Yukie route (+afterstory), Wanko route, teacher side route, tutorials, end-game skits, staff room, going home option in the character select screen, images, most of the system messages

Miyako route 50% translated.

majikoi s

Translates: Monshiro and Iyo routes translated

margit route 65%
