Yes, you need to use a program like Daemon tools so you can properly install the game. First, make sure your locale is in Japanese. Tutorial here. Then, get and install daemon tools so you can install the game. Daemon tools guide Read up on Installing Daemon tools and Mounting images. Feel free to ask if you still need help.

You can also message Hecrapan (the person who posted previously) if you want info on how to obtain the full sora route patch. Just make sure you get the VN up and running first.

hey, i downloaded the game, extracted, mounted to deamon, then did the windows setup thing it autoruns. but after that i the game wouldnt come up. i found the app in my c drive, but when i clicked on it nothing happened. also, i couldnt get the MDF file to mount, only the MDS. any suggestions? lastly, is the patch on here the full sora patch?

First of all did you have you system locale on Japanese? In order for the installation to work you got to do the install WHILE your system locale is in Japanese. After that you can run the game on App locale but i recommend leaving the system on Japanese.

No the Updated patch is not uploaded anywhere on the net. Its only distributed by mail. Ill send you a copy by private message.

i think it is set to japanese, i have downloaded and set up 5 other VN's and they worked fine. kanon, canvas 2, dacapo, shuffle, and clannad to be exact. given, only two of those games needed to be mounted though. im tech retarded, so im not sure though. when you say set on japanese do you mean going into your comp and going to the region setting that you can only change 4 times? also, i dont know how to PM on this site, can you tell me how.....lol sorry for being a pain in the ass

No. The common route is the route in which you aren't in any specific heroine route. So all the heroines share a common route and then you can branch off to whatever heroine you want usually by choices you make in the common route. It's basically used to get to know background info and the general story without going too specific into a heroine's story (which would be in their own route)

Just Sora and kazuha routes have been translated, however none of the 2 routes has been proofreaded... Yet.

So expect a LOT of typos.
