Main reasons most of "VN community" hates Aaeru: 1. She started promoting her "site" by spamming new threads/hijacking on /jp/ and other niche-related boards, proclaiming "we're going to change the western eroge world by uniting all translators (...)" (while this alone is not okay, doing it while only thing on your website is few screenshots how the website is going to look like in 1 year, when it's finished is kinda... . Check 4chan archives for more details/proofs) 2. Until now, she changed her stance on piracy two times already. At beginning she decided to to provide pirated games, same as my sites, K1, A-S and few other do. Then she changed her mind, and in lengthly blog post announced that it'll be patches-only, since it's very important to respect copyrights of authors and support western market. Finally she decided that copyright is outdated mechanic, it's everyone's *right* to get all culture goods for free, while author can starve to death, for all she cares. 3. Site provides no added value - all she's doing is leeching content/releases from other sites, adding some bullshit propaganda movies to her "repacks". Back in old days when "the scene" actually meant something, shit like that would get instantly nuked, "release group" banned from every topsite, and website DDoSed to hell and back... 4. Up till now, we've yet to see any actual release from her. The reason her "progress" isn't included in VNTLS is because the poster includes only proven/trustworthy projects. Look for "gamepatch's shuffle" and "to heart 2" translation projects to see why it's like that.

Erogedownload opened sometime around summer 2009. Erogegames is about one year younger (i think i bought new domain when reneweing the old one), but site was kind of a copy of erogedownload on different engine (orginal plan was to replace erogedownload with erogegames, due to inflexibility of wordpress engine for posts with 1000s of comments), then i purged the database due to literally thousands of spambots running rampart on site. Site re-opened again, but registration was impossible until i found time to actually work on site (copying post content over etc). The "current" version of site opened in febuary 2012. Second-oldest member is "zontiac", but he's only lurking. No idea about active posters.

There is a prophecy that every 1000 years, when the destruction draws near, the Messiah will come from a different world to the root world of Avatar and save them all. Mia Touma, while returning home from school, finds an old but highly decorated book. When she shows it to her brother, Taiga, the book teleports them to another world - Avatar. When they awaken, they find themselves in a world reminiscent of Medieval Europe. Before they understand what's happening, an energetic woman comes before them and tells them they have become Savior Candidates. They must use the training they learn at the school to defeat the Lords of Ruin and Ruin itself to save Avatar and every other world along with their friends. However, Taiga finds he has become the Red Apostle, which complicates matters greatly. What is going on with the fight with Ruin? Will he actually be able to become the Messiah and save Avatar? -
Private browsing is the issue then. One forum session lasts 30 minutes, you'll be logged out after that time, unless you check "remember me" option - then browser creates a cookie that automatically extends the session, and you never get logged out. If you're using provate browsing feature, browser will be unable to create that cookie and you'll get logged out every 30 minutes.

Yes, you can download subtitles separately. They are very small ( usually a few kilobytes), basically simple .txt ( or .srt ), but you need to find ones that match exactly the version of episode you have ( framerate, length etc). Most players load them automatically if they are named the same as anime episode, otherwise just look for "load subtitle file" option in player menu. As to where you can find them, i can't help you, since i don't know spanish, but spanish anime community is quite active so look around spanish anime sites and you should find them.
